Love you all, praying for you,
Have you ever noticed in life that often good things come in threes? God is the best thing ever! The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Kingdom of God – is Righteousness, Peace, and Joy in the Holy Spirit. When it all began. Be Saved, Baptized, and Filled with the Holy Spirit. Even every day in your walk with the LORD. Hear, Obey, and Tell Someone. PiVAT and PRISM help you hear – what God wants you to do, and what He wants you to know, and believe. And then Tell Someone – that Daily Call launches your testimony every morning, that you can repeat throughout the day – so you overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. As you get God’s plans for you through PiVAT, and God’s Word to you through PRISM – your time with God in His Word... that Daily conversation with Him where He reveals what you need to know – in order to do what He wants you to do. It’s how to do it effectively. I just love God’s Word, He often gives us instruction in three’s. Because they are easy to remember, and easy to repeat, so you can do them! So you can be a doer of the Word, not a hearer only. Praise God He tells us specifically what to do today (PiVAT before dinner), what we need to know – to do it well, (through PRISM time with Him in His Word) – and He helps us overcome the enemy by exhorting one another daily( in our Daily Call). But He also gives His will for us every day! I Thessalonians 5:16 - Be joyful always, pray continually, and Give Thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus. I just love that God is so clear. Three things. Be joyful always. Stop yourself during the day, give yourself a “God’s Will Check” - a quick self assessment. Am I full of joy right now? Am I acting like it. Does my face and my countenance, my eyes, and my smile and my body language show it? Or are the cares of this life and the struggles of this day taking over. Then Pray right now – pray again, and continually. And third, Give thanks – Speak the top 10 things you are thankful for right now – even in the midst of this. What did God do before? He will surely do it again! Praying that Joy – Prayer – and Thanksgiving will be your daily obedience – along with the specific things God told you to do, soaked in the WORD that He wants to reveal, overcoming with your Testimony – in your Daily Call, and in every conversation you have. That’s remaining in Christ – that’s letting His Word remain in you, and then – God promised, what you ask (that He directs you – because you’re drenched in Him), it will be done for you – by my Father in Heaven. Praying that your joy will be full today – His presence always brings it, obedience to what He tells you to do next, always bring it. Praying that you will pray without ceasing – and let the Holy Spirit lead your prayer – those are the prayers God is about to perform, and praying that you will be marked with thanksgiving – in every situation, whether the day is the best day ever, or a day full of challenge. It’s an opportunity for Joy, Prayer and Thanks. The will of God for you today! In Christ Jesus! Love you all, dad

Love you all, praying for you,
I just love God’s Word. It tells you how to live, and how not to. What is right and what is wrong. Opinions vary, God’s Word is truth. It Pays To Be Righteous. Righteous. Just, according to Divine law. One who is holy in heart, and obeys God’s commands in practice. Just: Straight, full, complete, upright, in conformity with God’s laws, truth and justice, equitable, doing equal justice, having just weights and balances, living in conformity with the divine will, innocent, blameless, without guilt. True to promises, faithful to one’s word or engagements, impartial. Righteous – yashar – straight, upright, well pleasing (right pleasant, prosperous, well esteemed, to take the straight way.) Genesis 7:1 – Then the LORD said to Noah, “Go into the ark, you and all your family, because I have found you righteous in this generation. Genesis 18:26 – The LORD said, “If I find fifty righteous people in the city of Sodom, I will spare the whole city for their sake. (31) Abraham said, Now that I have been so bold as to speak to the Lord what if only twenty can be found there? He said “For the sake of twenty, I will not destroy it.” Then he said, “May the Lord not be angry, but let me speak just once more. What if only ten can be found there? He answered, “For the sake of ten, I will not destroy it.” It pays to be righteous. Deuteronomy 4:8 – And what other nation is so great as to have such righteous decrees and laws as this entire law that I set before you today? So how are you righteous? You can’t be – on your own. God said there is no one righteous, not even one. Everyone has turned to his own way. The law of God just exposed sin, and the need for a Savior. Jesus, the Righteous One became sin for us, so that we might be considered righteous in the sight of God. His death in our place, makes us righteous before God, if we place our faith in Him. If not, you will never make it, and no unrighteousness will be found in Heaven. Not possible before a Holy God – like light and darkness, oil and water, where God is, no sin can dwell. So if you’ve put your faith in Christ – how do you walk in the righteousness that you are in Christ. Walk in the Spirit and you won’t fulfill the desires of the old nature. That selfish, ungodly nature that opposes the righteousness of God. Pray in the Spirit and you’ll walk in the Spirit. Receive His Grace to say no to what the old nature wants, and yes to what He wants. Just get His plans, soak in His Word, overcome with your testimony, and choose His presence, His thoughts, and His Words out of your mouth, and your walk will be upright. Praise God if we sin, He will forgive us, but we don’t have to anymore. The old nature doesn’t control us like it used to. It pays to be righteous. Not just to be spared from calamity, but to walk in victory! Freedom! The life that He died for you for! Praying that you will know and do what God has for you today. It’s how you walk uprightly, bless-able, it’s how God gets the glory from your life. It’s worth it. His love endures forever, His mercies are new every morning. He will never leave you or forsake you. He will establish you in His righteousness. Straight, full, complete, blameless, well-pleasing, prosperous, and well-esteemed by God and others. He’s righteous. And His Kingdom is righteousness, joy and peace. It pays to be righteous. He does it, not you. His grace is all you need. Praying that you will just walk in the Spirit today… in everything He’s told you to do. He’ll take care of the rest. Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you,
I just love God’s Word – it gives you secrets of success. Success comes from seeds. Like a mustard seed of faith can remove mountains. Praying today that you will ask God about who to plant a seed with – for your victory. “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony.” Your testimony is your seed to overcoming the enemy. Hebrews 3:13 – but exhort one another daily so that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. The devil is planting seeds of temptation, so you get trapped in sin. Sin will defeat you as surely as darkness comes when the sun leaves. Overcome the enemy and you will overcome the deceitfulness of sin. God said you do it with the seed of your testimony, and you do it daily with one other. Praying that you will ask God today, who to do a 3-Day Challenge with this week. Maybe someone brand new, who has never done a 3-Day Challenge, or maybe someone that you have walked with before, in another season of your life. If you are already walking with someone right now, pray about taking on just one other. Everyone needs a Paul, a Barnabus, and a Timothy. If you are unable to do that, maybe ask God who both of you might invite to do a 3-Day Challenge, and pick back up with each other next week. If you keep them to 15 minutes – 5 minutes you share your PiVAT for this week, 5 minutes they share, five minutes pray for each other… you can really do two Daily Calls. People have done it many times. You’ll get double the blessing. You will become more consistent in getting His plans for you through PiVAT, Getting His Word in you through PRISM. You’ll overcome through your testimony, you will get Godly counsel from another obeyer, The Holy Spirit will speak to both of you through your prayer for each other. You will be encouraged, and challenged, and you will see what God can do in just three days, as you just obey what He tells you – on the path He can’t wait to show you. It is so good! Praying that you will plant that 3-Day-Challenge seed this week. You will be discipling one another, and God will surely perform His Word in your life. Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you,
I just love God’s Word. It’s truth and life, it gives stories and principles, and examples (both good and bad). It talks about little things that become big things. Little things done consistently well – are what pave the way for big things. It’s God’s principle of ‘faithful with little.’ When you don’t feel like it, when it doesn’t seem to be working or making a difference. Sometimes you obey, just to obey, not because you get a rush of instant gratification. Praying that you will take the time today to do PiVAT for this week, and PiVAT for tomorrow – getting God’s plans for you instead of your own. PiVAT is faith practice. God said, “The just shall live by faith.” How do you live by faith? You exchange God’s plans for your plans. It’s how you live by faith. #1 That you heard Him right, (that it wasn’t just your imagination). That what He told you to do today (to the best of your hearing and understanding was really him speaking). #2) That His plans for you – are good. And #3) That if you do them, it will be worth it. That there will be a benefit for you either in this life or the life to come. PiVAT before dinner – is faith practice. It fine tunes your hearing of God’s voice. It changes your heart completely – it’s full submission to God’s will for your life, instead of your own, God’s way instead of yours. Our plans are self-serving, God’s plans are others-serving. Our plans seek ourself first, His plans seek Him first. “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.” What you want to get by your own plans will always elude you, but if you give over your plans to God, He makes sure that everything you need finds you. This week will be over before you know it - just like last week. You will either seek after and follow His plans for you, or you will follow your own. If you don’t ask Him, you can’t receive. If you don’t spend time with Him in conversation – He won’t be able to tell you his plans for your good. Those who follow their own plans – think they did fine… They don’t realize what could have been. Praying that you will ask God, and check in with Him as you go. Giving Him full control, it’s what surrender means, so He can bring you more than you can ask or imagine. Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you,
I just love God’s Word, it distinguishes. It teaches you discernment. It’s helpful to listen to successful people. When interviewed, they will give away secrets of their success. Whether intentionally trying to share successful principles for the benefit of others, or merely boasting about what they have accomplished. When that reporter asks them questions, (unless they are keeping their cards close to the vest) they will usually come to life, as people love talking about themselves. But when they do, it is critical to distinguish what kind of success they are talking about. Just like there is the wisdom that comes from the world, and the wisdom that comes from God, the same is true regarding success. The wise discern. They mentally separate between true and false – between one and the other. True and what seems or appears true. Like the rich fool, successful, of one kind, but not the other. He would be the one that every church would want on the board. To head up the building campaign, to build bigger church buildings like he builds bigger barns, but his heart is not toward God, but the desires of this world. He will lose everything. David and other men of God, conversely, gave insight into true success, what made them tick, and how they think. Psalms is kind of an exclusive interview with David, a man after God’s own heart, and he gives away the farm when it comes to a success manual. Psalms 44:4 – You are my King and my God, who decrees victories for Jacob. Through you we push back our enemies through your Name we trample our foes. I do not trust in my bow, my sword does not bring me victory, but you give us victory over our enemies, you put our adversaries to shame. In God we make our boast all day long, and we will praise your name forever. David is talking in psalms, first to himself, then to God, and then to us or anyone who has ears to hear. Here He is reminding himself, as well as talking to God. “You are my King and my God.” You are the one I obey as King, who’s kingdom and dominion I am a citizen of. I follow your laws, rules and regulations. I submit to you as King. Telling God that He will fully submit himself today, and also telling himself, what He is going to do. Then He says, “You are my God.” The one who created me, who sustains me, who loves me and saves me. The one I worship – the one I honor as the Supreme Authority – the one I bow down to, and worship with my whole heart, soul, mind and might. (You) decree victories for Jacob. God renamed Jacob Israel. If you are not part of God’s chosen people of Abrahams natural seed, you can now become through Christ, God’s chosen people of Abrahams spiritual seed. Praise God. Through You we push back our enemies. It’s God who does it. And God said our enemies are not people, but principalities and powers of this dark world. Our enemy is the enemy of our soul, the one who hates God, and therefore hates us. And he is pushed back every time we resist sin, every time we fear God, turn from evil. Every time we obey His plans for us today, and choose His Word to transform our mind, every time we overcome with our testimony, exhorting one another daily, every time we choose to praise, and sing, and worship and rejoice, the enemy is pushed back and the adversary is put to shame. David said to himself. Just as a reminder. I do not trust in my bow, my sword does not bring me victory, but you give us victory over the enemy. It is God that does it, not my skill, strength, initiative, diligence, persistence or resolve. I don’t do those things to succeed, I do them to obey the LORD my God, and honor Him – And His right arm, is the arm that brings me victory. The God who declares victories for us! His people – Israel – where He rules as God. In you O GOD, we make our boast all day long. He was reminding himself – today – I will keep talking about God, He will be on my mind, in my heart, and on my tongue. I will praise your Name forever. Your fame and reputation, your renown. Everything you are, that You say and said, that You do and did. Your Name and your Fame, your Renown, Reputation, Track Record of undefeated success and all the promises for the future… We will praise all of that – forever. Praying that you will discern between successes – that you will measure everything you hear against God’s standard of truth, that you will tell yourself like David, it’s not your plans or effort that brings you victory, but the arm of the LORD your strength, that you will obey Him as King, worship Him as God, and Praise His Name today, and every day for the rest of your life. Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you,
I just love God’s Word. It gives challenges. It poses challenging questions, either directly or by deduction. Here’s one, How do you listen? Have you ever thought about you personally… how do you listen? People listen in different ways. Some people listen distracted, some people listen with skepticism, some listen with doubt, some listen out of curiosity, or boredom, some people listen thinking of their own answer, just waiting for their turn to talk, or it would be rude. Some people listen to criticize, some people listen to sell you something, or manipulate you into doing what they want. They don’t really listen to you, they listen for clues to control you. So how does God want you to listen? There are some people who listen to understand – with no agenda but love and empathy. When it comes to God some people actually listen carefully with intent to obey. That’s how God wants you to listen. Not listen to consider, but listen with the foregone conclusion that what God says is true, and I will obey no matter what, and I’ll do it immediately. That’s the kind of listening that God wants from you. It proves his principle of more. Luke 8:16 – Therefore consider carefully how you listen. Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has will be taken from him. When it comes to listening, what you have and don’t have – is what sticks and what doesn’t. Some people had it but lost it, some never had it, others have it and keep it and get more. Praying that you will listen well today. First to God, then to others. Someone said, you can’t listen when you’re talking. Easy to talk, harder to listen. You won’t listen, if you don’t have ears to hear. In order to listen well – ask God to help you listen. Ask God to help you make it a focus, until it becomes a first reaction. Ask clarifying questions, reflect what they said, and let them add or clarify. Listen for their thoughts, and their feelings, listen with no agenda, and fully listen before preparing a response. And when it comes to God – do the same. Let the Holy Spirit clarify, and as for you - pre-decide that you will obey no matter what. Listen to run with it! Not to debate or consider it. (Don’t be perverse – turning it over in your mind and eventually going back to the opposite) instead be perceiving. Know and do the will of God. It comes from listening to His voice. Be careful how you hear. Hear well and you’ll do well. Whatever God says is for your victory, your deliverance and your absolute good. You can trust Him. Praying that you will have ears to hear, eyes to see, and a heart to obey immediately. Even if what God tells you doesn’t make sense, or doesn’t seem like the best idea. Be sure it’s Him speaking, but Obey first, and the understanding will come, the victory will come, the fruit will come – and joy will come with it. So how do you listen? Praying that you will listen well, so you do well, so you get more of what He wants to share with you, and reveal to you. Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you,
I just love God’s Word – It’s practical. Have you ever been discouraged? It’s easy to be discouraged, and allow discouragement to grow. God’s path is life and hope and peace, the devils path for you is discouragement, despair and depression. The answer is always in God’s Word – the Word of life. Why do people get discouraged? Why are you downcast o my soul? First – things happen, they go wrong. The dog eats your homework, you didn’t get what you wanted for Christmas. Things happen other than you wanted them to, or hoped they would. Second – you fail. You sin, or fall short, and it’s discouraging. Or you make a mistake, an unwise choice, which always carries consequence, and you may have done similarly before – and it can be discouraging. Third – people disappoint you, whether betrayal, rejection, or just selfishness. Or maybe even unfair expectations on your part. People aren’t perfect, and your personal feelings, are rarely their priority - and to be fair, not really their job. It still can be disappointing, and discouragement is always knocking at your door. So what does God say to do – when your soul is downcast? Psalm 42:5 – Why are you downcast O my soul, why so disquieted within me. Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise Him my Savior and my God. My soul is downcast within me, therefore I will remember you… By day the LORD directs His love at night His song is with me, a prayer to the God of my life. I’m so thankful for PRISM, for the S: of PRISM – Study the Word – S.O.A.P.ing out a verse to give God the chance to reveal the truth you need for today, by the Holy Spirit. But I’m also thankful for Extracts. Taking a multi-verse view and pulling out the takeaways. What does God say we should do when our soul is starting to feel downcast? You can listen to that voice… or you can hear and obey the voice of God. What do you do when your soul is downcast? #1) Put your hope in God – you do it with your words. Its a choice, a decision… Speak it out of your mouth – and you’ll be speaking to the discouragement trying to get a foothold. #2) Praise Him yet – the sacrifice of praise, for the spirit of heaviness. It’s a sacrifice – when you don’t feel like it. Yet will I praise Him, even now – He’s working everything out for your good – if you trust Him, and obey His next step. #3) Remember Him – Don’t look at the discouragement – encourage yourself in the LORD – Remember Who He is and What He has done, and what He has done for you. This isn’t the first time you’ve had the opportunity to be discouraged. But He promised to be with you – and He has delivered you every time! #4) Sing His song – even in the night – He gives you a song. Sing when you don’t feel like it. You don’t need a voice like Whitney Houston – just sing. It delights God, and it changes you. Sing a new song. Go off the page. Just like Praise the Word of PRISM. If you start it, the Holy Spirit will finish it. If you don’t know what words to sing for this new song – just use the Word of God – Sing the Word. #5) Pray – to the God of your life. Don’t complain, pray. Don’t bemoan your circumstance. Ask God, present your plea, and then pray in adoration of the power of His Might. Thank Him for what He has done. Pray for others instead of just yourself. Pray the Word over them, it will change your focus and build your faith. Praying that you will notice discouragement knocking – and not answer. That you will Put your hope in God, Praise Him yet, Remember Him and what He has done – and pray to Him while He may be found. Praying that discouragement knocking, would just begin a reversal in you where your emotions are surrendered to the greatest power on earth, the One who is in control of everything, who loves you, who delivers you from every trouble, and every fear, whose plans for you are good! Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you,
I just love God’s Word. It tells you the best way to live. The way that works, the way that pleases God, the way that draws His favor, and His blessing. Psalms 40:1 – I waited patiently for the LORD: He turned to me and heard my cry. Have you ever considered – how you wait? What does it mean to wait patiently for the LORD? You can wait any number of ways, you can wait impatiently, you can wait angry, you can wait in unbelief, you can wait complaining, you can wait striving, or you can wait in apathy… you can wait a number of ways. Wait patiently doesn’t mean wait dormantly, or complacently… It doesn’t mean hold your breath until He answers that prayer, grants that desire, or meets that need. It doesn’t mean go up on the rooftop and wait for His return. Wait patiently simply means – Do your job and let Him do His. The heavy lifting is His job, not yours. Stay in your lane. Stop trying to work things out yourself. Leave ‘God things’ to God. Don’t get ahead of Him, or try to do His job. You need His grace just to do your job, why on earth are you be trying to do His? Patiently waiting on the LORD means get to the next thing – while He does His thing. Get to the next thing He told you, and leave this thing, this problem, this challenge, this threat or issue, this mountain – to Him. Wait patiently means change your focus. Get it off of what He hasn’t done yet, like you expected… and DO what He told you to do right now. And He didn’t say just sit around waiting… Be faithful in the waiting and in the meantime. You cannot be patiently waiting if you’re always thinking about what you’re waiting for – at the expense of what He’s waiting on you for… the things He has for you to do in other areas besides this one. That’s not waiting patiently or faithfully. He’s big enough to handle a million of your lifetimes. So this problem may seem big to you, but its not big to Him. Get busy obeying in other areas until He can work out His perfect will for this one. When you learn to wait patiently, you learn to lay down your timing and desired resolution, and let Him decide and provide. You just do what He told you to do right now. Joy will come, and patience with it. James 1:5 – But let patience have its perfect work. Let endurance, perseverance, patience, steadfastness – finish its work. Let it become fully developed, Let it have its full effect – so that you may be mature and complete not lacking anything. So the verse before this… Count it all joy when you face trials of many kinds, cause it develops your patience, your perseverance, and endurance. And the verse after says – If you lack wisdom in the course of letting patience complete its perfect work (meaning if you need wisdom to know what to do next while you’re waiting… then ask God who gives liberally to all without finding fault – and wisdom will be given to you - next step by next step. So He not only gives you patience, the Fruit of the Spirit, but He tells you how to wait patiently… by asking and receiving the wisdom He provides to those who ask. And when you receive it – Do It! (Be a doer, not a hearer only) and you’ll get wisdom for the next step until patience has completed its work – so all of you can be mature and complete – not lacking anything. Praying that you will count it all joy (when you face trials), Praying that you will wait patiently, and ask for wisdom. That you will be joyful in trial, that you will let God do His job, while you just do yours. That you will ask and receive His wisdom for exactly what to do, while you’re waiting… So patience can bring its full effect – to mature and complete you. Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you,
I just love God’s Word. It gives you keys. Like Salvation is your key to eternity in heaven to live forever with God. And this is the only key - faith in Jesus Christ alone. The filling of the Holy Spirit is the key to the power you need to life a life pleasing to God. Humility and The Fear of the LORD are the keys to wisdom. Giving is the key to your provision. Diligence is the key to profit. Forgiving is the key to being forgiven. Thanksgiving and Praise are the keys to entering His presence. And reading His Word is the key to success. Calling on Him is the key to your answer. Faith is the key to victory. Testimony is the key to overcoming. The Joy of the LORD is the key to your strength. The garment of praise is the key to removing the spirit of heaviness. God gives keys that work, keys that unlock things that release things, and that bind things to you. Praying that you will be so faithful in PiVAT today – following through with what He told you to do in this hour. Praying that you will be so faithful in PRISM today, to get His instructions to you – before you step on the field, and at every timeout. So He can tell you which key to use to lock and unlock everything He has for you. Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you,
I just love God’s Word. It gives quick reminders. Every day you do PRISM is not a chore, it’s the opportunity God has been waiting for – to give you instruction for your day, warning for pitfalls to avoid, quick reminders to keep you focused on what will make you most effective. Like the coach giving last minute instruction before you step on the court, the field, or into the ring. Psalms 39:1 – I said, “I will watch my ways, and keep my tongue from sin; There is a simple truth, a secret weapon that you have. “I said.” “I said, I will…” What you say… you will. What you say you will, you will - far more likely. Especially if you say I will, and then do it right then and there. I will bless the LORD at all times, His praise will continually be in my mouth. I will guard my tongue and guard my life. I will overlook faults, and show mercy. I will always speak truth and speak like. God’s Word will be on my tongue all day today. I will always have hope, I will praise Him more and more, my tongue will tell of His righteousness and of His praises all day long. “I said,” It’s a powerful tool. I said, “I will.” What is God telling you to say today? that you will surely do? Improve your chances. Ask Him and say it, and then do it. Your day will change, your heart will change, your life will change. He will establish you through everything He says – that you say. He will sustain you, He will protect you and He will advance you. From the words of your mouth your womb is filled. What you say, you will do – especially if you do it immediately. Praying that you will say today, that you will say, “I said, I will..” so you can do it, and then say what God said, and what God did! Crazy thing just now. I’ve got a live worship set playing this morning as I’m worshipping, and as I moved the mouse a popup from YouTube said this… “Don’t like this video? Sign in to make your opinion count.” What a powerful draw for wickedness. This is just a lie. If you don’t like this video, click on a different one. But giving your opinion will not make it count. Signing in will not make your opinion count. It amazes me how the world’s most powerful companies not only encourage, but ingrain behaviors of destruction, destructive words, criticism, slander, and pride. It is the exact opposite of what God said. God said let everything out of your mouth build up, not tear down. This is the difference between God’s way and man’s way, Life and Death. But if you said this morning, “I will…” this subtle deception, will stand out like a sore thumb. When you say, I will, you will. You will turn from wickedness to Godliness, so the blessing and favor of God can continue on your life. Praying that you will say what God says, and that what you say, that He said to say – you will surely do. So He can show you what He can do! Love you all, dad |
