Give Unto Caesar

Love you all, praying for you,

I just love God’s Word. It tells you about government and its God given purpose and responsibility. It also tells you about citizenship and your God given purpose and responsibility, when governments are righteous, and when governments become corrupt. It tells you what God expects of you both spiritually, and politically. 

Within one week this nation will have another election to decide the course of not just the next two, four, or six years, but perhaps the next fifty. If we are to give unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s, and give unto God that which is God’s, what is required of us as citizens of this country, to honor God, and fulfill our God given responsibility? Is it OK to just pray and vote? Or does God expect more?

Why is there such great division in America? Even among those who profess to know God. If the millions of self-called Christians would agree and vote, the righteous would rule, and the people would rejoice.  The communist democrat socialist party cannot win on policy, they can only win by fomenting hatred of the other party and candidate. Pitting rich against poor, black against white, privileged against victim, which they define, and media and social media supports. Recent Barna Research says 32 million regular churchgoers in this election will likely not vote.  When the righteous don’t vote, the wicked rule. Proverbs 29:2 - When the righteous increase, the people rejoice, when the wicked rule, the people groan. Proverbs 28:12 - When the righteous triumph, there is great elation; but when the wicked rise to power, people go into hiding. Proverbs 14:34 - Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.

This election, as many in the current age, is wrought with division and contention. Why? Because there are two kingdoms at war, the Kingdom of Light, and the kingdom of darkness.  The God of truth, and the father of lies.  Thus, the famous quote: “In war, the first casualty is truth.” Sun Tzu in the fifth century: “All warfare is based on deception.” The reason for the political divide in America is people do not know truth, they believe lies.

After each critical election, will the Constitution of these United States of America stand to protect the life, liberty and freedom of its people? Or will it be changed in favor of another form of government, the favoring of some of its citizens over others, or non-citizens over citizens? Will it protect the freedom of speech of all its citizens? Or only those who agree with the party in power? Will it protect the right of assembly guaranteed to all its citizens, or only those who assemble for reasons that those in power agree with? Will it protect the life of all its citizens or will those who have no voice be required to sacrifice their life, for the convenience of others? 

What candidates does God want in this election? Does He care? If He has chosen one; would it be the one that most people would think? Samuel got fooled, how much more the people of this country who do not even know God, and who listen to lies? Proverbs 28:5 – Evil men do not understand justice, but those who seek the LORD comprehend it fully. Will you vote for the candidate of God’s choosing, or will you vote for the devil’s choice? How would you know?

The greatest need in America right now other than repentance… is truth. What does God say about governments, rulers, those in authority, and those who are not? What is our responsibility when it comes to civil authority, and civic duty? God’s Word never mentions the United States of America by name. But God does instruct his people about governments and governmental authority.

Romans 13:1 – Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you. For he is God’s servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing. He is God’s servant, an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also because of conscience.” 

Clearly this only refers to righteous governments, not unrighteous ones, not corrupt governments who pass corrupt laws, ignore truth and law, persecute and prosecute the righteous and exonerate the guilty. These wicked rulers do not hold terror for those who do wrong, they let them out without bail. These rulers hold terror for those who do right, because they are against what is right, they prosecute the righteous and acquit the guilty with corrupt judges, and blind prosecutors.  These rulers do exactly the opposite of what God established government to do. 

The Bible is clear, God’s purpose for governmental authority is to commend those who do good, and punish those who do evil, or they and others will persist in it. Is that what we have in this country? A government that commends the righteous and punishes the wicked? Or do we have wicked people in power, that reject God, righteousness, and certain laws they don’t like, instead promoting deception and evil, and prosecuting those who stand for righteousness?

The Bible says when the king listens to lies, all his officials become corrupt. In this country where the people are king, half of them listen to lies, and all their officials have become corrupt. The democrat socialists cannot secure the votes for their evil actions without RINO’s colluding with them.  It is not God’s purpose for government to pervert justice. Isaiah 5:20 - Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil. Isaiah 10:1,3 – Woe to those who make unjust laws, who issue oppressive decrees... What will you do on the day of reckoning, when disaster comes from afar? To whom will you run for help? Where will you leave your riches? Nothing will remain but to cringe among the captives, or to fall among the slain… 

Wicked governments, nations and rulers can be sure of this: Woe to you! It means sudden and utter destruction that God brings on the wicked. Proverbs 16:4 – The LORD works out everything for His own ends, even the wicked for the day of disaster. Any government who refuses to punish evil doers, but lets them go free, instead making excuses for them, who promotes evil itself, and prosecutes the innocent - has betrayed the purpose of their divinely appointed existence.

Proverbs 17:15 - Those who condemn the innocent and acquit the guilty are an abomination to God. I Peter 2:13 - Submit yourselves for the LORD’s sake to every human authority: whether to the emperor, as the supreme authority, or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right. For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people. Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves. Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the emperor.”

In our country, we are missing truth, justice, respect, and kindness. Those who disrespect authority, are disrespecting God. His Word is clear, they will reap what they sow. Whether anarchists in the street against Godly government, or anarchist governments against the righteousness of God, and His people. The Pharisees came to Jesus to try to harm him. Should we pay tax to Caesar or not? If he said yes, he would lose followers, if he said no, he would be arrested by the Romans. “Why are you trying to trick me? Bring me a denarius… whose picture is on it?” “Caesar’s” “Then render unto Caesar the things that are Ceasar’s and render unto God the things that are Gods.”

What is happening in America today? God says Thou shalt not kill – and we kill. Things God hates we do constantly in this nation.  God said better a millstone around your neck and thrown into the sea, than to cause one of these little ones to stumble, but we murder them by the millions in America.  We call it ‘reproductive rights’ and ‘women’s healthcare.’ There is nothing healthy about it, millions of little women are murdered.  Proverbs 6:16 – There are six things the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to him; haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies, and a person who stirs up dissension among brothers.

This is our nation today. Our political system, educators, government agencies, news media, and information corporations produce lies, censor truth, and call truth - disinformation, while they themselves are the purveyors of it. Our departments of justice are injustice, three letter agencies who break laws and prosecute the innocent. They are imbedded with slander and false accusation, even the ‘justice system’ is corrupt – promoting lies not truth, acquitting the guilty and condemning the innocent. God said He hates it. We are a nation of unrest, those who stir up conflict, who disrespect authority, who burn and tear things down, rather than build them up. The socialists in power do not condemn them but condone them. America had a President that throughout his entire term, and even after his term was prosecuted by political enemies using the so-called justice system, who fabricate crimes, prosecute non-crimes, and conceal exculpatory evidence which proves innocence. Not only disrespecting those God has placed in authority but spreading false accusation which God despises.

Jesus said, a house divided against itself cannot stand, Abraham Lincoln said the same thing. Benjamin Franklin said “Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters.” John Adams said. "Our constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for the government of any other.” Yet the democrat socialist party in this nation wants to separate God from the public square. The very thing that our founding fathers said was a requirement for this nation to endure, by whose Providence alone we existed in the first place. The Democrat party removed God from their platform, amidst the cheers of their delegates.  James Madison said – “A well instructed people alone can be permanently a free people.”

Uninformed, misinformed people will vote for the destruction of their own nation and will reap destruction upon themselves. If they are influenced by lies, their freedom will end. That’s where due diligence in the pursuit of truth, not the mere believing of lies and slander is so critical to the continued existence of any democratic republic, or any righteous nation.  Do you not care about your children and grandchildren and what they will suffer under? Discerning between truth and lies is the responsibility we ourselves bear as citizens of America and children of God.

Regarding the preservation of America, Abraham Lincoln spoke the truth, “At what point shall we expect the approach of danger? By what means shall we fortify against it? Shall we expect some transatlantic military giant to step the Ocean, and crush us at a blow? Never! All the armies of Europe, Asia and Africa combined, with all the treasure of the earth (our own excepted) in their military chest; with a Buonaparte for a commander, could not by force, take one drink from the Ohio River, or make a trek on the Blue Ridge Mountains, in a trial of a thousand years. At what point then is the approach of danger to be expected? I answer, if it ever reach us, it must spring up from amongst us. It cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time or die by suicide.” – Abraham Lincoln.

What is at stake in this, and every election is life and death, freedom, or the surrender of it. Democratic Socialism in all human history is based on atheism, the rejection of God whose Sovereign providence, our founding fathers credited for the existence of this nation. The righteous living requirements set out in the Bible – took this nation from nothing to the greatest superpower the world has ever seen, resulting in greater freedom and financial success of the poor and middle class than any government in human history.

But we squandered the wealth that Godliness produced, our government cannot stop spending more than it makes every year.  Deficit is what we overspend each year, national debt is the accumulation of every year’s overspending, Thirty Trillion dollars and growing!  Our debt is choking us to death we pay more in interest on the national debt than we do on welfare!  We print money to give to other countries, and fully pay all living expenses to illegal aliens overrunning our own; enabled by a corrupt administration that has violated their oath of office to uphold the law.  Instead, they are aiding & abetting illegal aliens in breaking the law that they took an oath of office to uphold.  Printing billions of dollars for foreign countries and the illegals invasion, is it any surprise that inflation is running rampant.

We are destroying our currency, stealing the life savings of our citizenry, and threatening the financial solvency, and national security of a once great nation. Our kids have been taught socialism in the schools, the Bible and prayer removed. The history of socialism without exception is poverty and arrest of all opposing political voices, the persecution of Christians, and the incarceration and eventual murder of its own people.  All citizens who eventually long for freedom, by necessity oppose socialism, but it’s too late, they have the guns and have taken away yours.

No matter what name it comes under, Marxism, socialism, communism, Maoism, progressivism, democratic socialism of the Democrat Party - the result is the same in all of human history: poverty, misery, incarceration, and murder - no exceptions. In our nation, one party has removed God from their platform, it berates those who hold to their Bibles and their guns, it supports the death of the innocent, the destruction of cities and property under false pretense of morality. They acquit the guilty, set them free without bail to again prey on the weak. They slander at every turn, they bring false accusation, they speak against those in authority, they rebel against the authority that God has established, they limit the free speech of all who question their injustice and illegal behavior, they prevent the assembly of worshippers, they sexualize children and promote what God calls abomination. They call Israel an occupier of the land God gave them three thousand years ago. They want to neuter the balance of power in America by increasing the Judicial branch, and giving statehood to territories which support socialism, censorship, and large government. They want to make the whole nation like California, where it is now illegal to require photo ID and proof of citizenship to cast a vote in US Elections.  Thus millions of illegals can vote for socialist handouts, making this a permanent one-party rule, socialist country, and bankrupt a once great nation.  

They follow the evil of Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals playbook to overthrow governments to socialism.  They accuse their enemy of what they themselves are doing, to cause confusion.  They never let a crisis go to waste, like a pandemic to enrich pharma companies while granting them legal protection from lawsuit for adverse effect deaths.  They require poisonous vaccines or lose your job.  They shut down small businesses and churches but allow big box stores to stay open so their billionaire donors get richer, and small business owners lose their business. Churches and families can’t meet, but anarchists stoking racial hatred and anti-police assaults can riot in the streets. Their pseudo vaccines and unscientific mask mandates harmed children, poisoned those least at risk, and shut down schools, causing educational loss, and weakening the mental health of this nation’s children unable to attend school. They accuse their opponents of disinformation, when they themselves spread it.  They seek to arrest those who reject their socialist madness. 

They call those who promote God’s Word dangerous and unpatriotic. Or parents who just don’t want their kids in school indoctrinated by sexual perversion at young ages, they frame as insurrectionists, terrorists, or threats to democracy. They try to prosecute presidents they don’t like at local levels rather than national, with fabricated crimes, blocked exculpatory evidence, conflict of interest judges and prosecutors claiming crimes and evidence that do not exist. Why would that be? Like Doeg the Edomite, who served with Saul, and tried to sabotage David’s administration: 

Proverbs 29:2 - God says when the righteous rule the people rejoice, when the wicked rule, the people groan. The wicked always lie, while they accuse others of lying, censor, incarcerate, then murder. History is replete with examples. God speaks of the actions of the wicked when the righteous are promoted:  Psalms 112:10 –The wicked man will see and be vexed, he will gnash his teeth and waste away; the longings of the wicked will come to nothing.” It’s why the wicked meltdown when the righteous rule.

Isaiah 5:20 - God says woe to those who call evil good, and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter… who acquit the guilty for a bribe but deny justice to the innocent. Exodus 23:2 – “Do not follow the crowd in doing wrong. When you give testimony in a lawsuit, do not pervert justice by siding with the crowd, and do not show favoritism to a poor person in a lawsuit. Leviticus 19:15 – Do not pervert justice; do not show partiality to the poor or favoritism to the rich and powerful but judge your neighbor fairly. Isaiah 10:1 – Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive degrees…”

God is warning us!  Be very careful where you stand. And be sure that you take a stand. If God has taken a stand, should not you? Today we have polls and pundits predicting election results. But has God said anything? Amos 3:7 – Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing his plan to His servants the prophets. Has God spoken anything for this season regarding these leaders or this nation which has been so prominent in the earth?

As for me, and I pray you also… I will vote for a President, Senator or Representative for five simple reasons. #1 He stands with Israel (so God stands with Him) #2 He stands for Life  #3 He limits government, regulation and taxes, which increases jobs and personal income, he balances the budget and pays off our debt. #4 He protects this country from all enemies foreign and domestic - his party platform reflects God’s laws and God’s principles, and #5 He promotes religious freedom worldwide.

And finally, I will pray that God will reveal the candidate and candidates of His choosing for this time and this season, who most align with Him and His Word.  He may not be who I would choose or expect God to use. But God can use a Nebuchadnezzar or a Cyrus, as well as a David, a Jehoshaphat or Josiah, a Jael or a Debra. Man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart.

God said it is God alone who makes nations rise and fall, who raises up leaders and removes others. I am praying for a President, Senators, and Congressional Representatives who have respect for God and His Word, and our US Constitution, by their policy and actions. Personality is secondary, Platform and Track Record is what matters.

For you - my prayer is that you will search out this matter, that you will diligently seek the LORD on whom God has chosen for such a time as this; that you will stand with God at the voting booth. The most important thing in America that you can give to Caesar, not to mention to God, your children and grandchildren - is your vote. We don’t have Ceasar’s yet in America, we only have who we put there. We get what we deserve, but only for as long as we can preserve free and fair elections.

Praying that you will dedicate each day from now until the election to pray for God’s choice to be elected. That God will change the hearts of the wicked to vote for the righteous, and that the righteous would vote and influence other righteous votes. So those who govern this nation will be those who will honor God, not just seek power, those whose hearts are open to Him, equal justice, and His will for this nation. That will be fearless, and not bow to the pressure of evil men and women who do not fear God, who do not walk in His ways.

Praying that you will fast & pray, repent and turn, vote and vote righteously, and then encourage others to vote righteously. Every prayer is important just like every vote. May God bring the righteous to rule, so the people can rejoice, even if the wicked are vexed. Let them be.  May He remove the wicked from power – those who call evil good, and good evil. May God bless this nation whose founding was by His Providence, and whose founding fathers who by large majority believed in Him, based this government on God’s Word and His Principles, and credited its existence to Divine Providence. May God preserve this nation, so it’s people can be free, and so the good news of Jesus Christ and the eternal life He gives can be shared with every person in every nation.

In answering this prayer, God uses people. The Question to ask, God and yourself:  Have I done everything in my power to influence righteousness in this election; so the wicked don’t rule, but the righteous.

God’s Word is clear, Proverbs 28:4 – Those who forsake the law praise the wicked, those who heed it resist them. Other versions say, “Those who abandon God’s teachings praise wicked people, those who follow God’s teachings, oppose them.” “If you have no regard for the law, you are on the side of the wicked, but if you obey it, you are against them.”

​Matthew 12:30 – Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me, scatters.  What a scary statement from God.  This is your civic duty, both as a citizen of the kingdom of God, and as a citizen of these United States of America – formed by God’s providence to bring His message to the world. 

Pray and vote is not enough.  You must gather or you scatter.  If you are not For God, For Truth, Justice, and righteousness, then you are against Him. If you are not working with him, you are working against him. (Matthew 12:30)  This verse is perhaps the source of the quote: “Evil triumphs when good people do nothing.” When it comes to God’s gift of living in this nation, this democratic republic, if you can keep it… you are either gathering righteous votes, or it’s the same as scattering. What does that mean? If we claim to be believers, then for this nation to remain one nation under God; have you done everything within your power to resist evil, to resist lies and liars, and secure righteousness in elections?

Have you asked God what He wants you to do, other than just vote or pray? Praying that you will Pray, Repent, and Turn from your wicked ways (Or He can’t hear from heaven, forgive your sin, and heal your land), Then Vote Righteously, and Gather Righteous Votes. Oppose lies and promote truth, Honor God and others, Seek Peace and pursue it. If you don’t, who will? This nation will be lost.  God saves a nation through righteous people who will stand with Him.  There can be no peace when the wicked rule, this nation will be lost. And even if everyone would agree on wickedness, God does not, His destruction will come on that nation. Praying that you will obey God in your civic duty – so this nation can return to one nation under God, indivisible with liberty (true liberty) and equal justice for all.  May God save America, and may everyone who claims to know him, do their part. Everything God tells them to do. 

So what can I do beyond pray and vote?  If you have not voted yet, vote early.  If you have voted, now is your opportunity to gather, or scatter, to be with God, or against Him.  At each County Elections Website, you can see who voted and who didn’t.  From now until election day, contact those you know in your personal contact list, and in your precinct who have not voted, and encourage righteous votes.  On election day at each polling location, they post at 11am and 4p the list of registered voters in that precinct, who voted so far and who hasn't. Don’t contact people who will vote for wickedness.  Contact registered voters who will vote for righteous policy candidates, not righteous personality candidates (no candidate is righteous).  Compare party platforms and candidate plans.  Which most reflect God’s Word and God’s commands?  The answer will be obvious. 

Some people may vote just because you contact them.  “Those who don’t gather with me, scatter.”  You are gathering, or you are scattering.  Ask God to help you influence people to vote for righteousness – policy, not personality.  This nation is hanging in the balance.  Jeremiah 29:7 – and work for the peace and prosperity of the city where I send you into exile, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.  For America to prosper, the righteous must rule.  The wicked must be deposed. 

Fast & Pray, Repent, Turn (from your wicked ways), Vote Righteously, Gather Righteous Votes.  And pray that God will Save America.  If God’s people will move with God when He moves.  America will be saved.  What will you do?
