For surely, O LORD, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield. (5:12)
The LORD has heard my cry for mercy; the LORD accepts my prayer. (6:9)
My shield is God Most High who saves the upright in heart. (7:10)
God is a righteous judge, a God who expresses his wrath every day. (7:11)
You have set your glory above the heavens. (8:1)
From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise because of your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger. (8:2)
O LORD our LORD, how majestic is your Name in all the earth. (8:9)
The LORD reigns forever; he has established his throne for judgment. (9:7)
He will judge the world in righteousness; he will govern the peoples with justice. (9:8)
The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. (9:9)
Those who know your Name will trust in you, for you, O LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you. (9:10)
For he who avenges blood remembers; he does not ignore the cry of the afflicted. (9:12)
But you, O God, do see trouble and grief; you consider it to take it in hand. (10:14)
You are the helper of the fatherless. (10:14)
The LORD is King forever and ever; the nations will perish from his land. (10:16)
The LORD is in his holy temple; the LORD is on his heavenly throne. He observes the sons of men; his eyes examine them… For the LORD is righteous, he loves justice; upright men will see his face. (11:4,7)
I will now arise, says the LORD, “I will protect them from those who malign them.” (12:5)
You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. (16:11)

It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way complete. (18:32)
He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; he enables me to stand on the heights. (18:33)
He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze. (18:34)
You give me your shield of victory, and your right hand sustains me; you stoop down to make me great. You broaden the path beneath me, so that my ankles do not turn. (18:35-36)
He is the God who avenges me, who subdues nations under me, who saves me from my enemies. (18:47-48)
He gives his king great victories; he shows unfailing kindness to his anointed, to David and his descendants forever. (18:50)
Now I know that the LORD saves his anointed; he answers him from his holy heaven with the saving power of his right hand. (20:6)
The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want (23:1)
No one whose hope is in you will ever be put to shame, but they will be put to shame who are treacherous without excuse. (25:3)

You have not handed me over to the enemy but have set my feet in a spacious place. (30:8) How great is your goodness which you have stored up for those who fear you, which you bestow in the sight of everyone, on those who take refuge in you. (31:19)
In the shelter of your presence you hide them from the intrigues of men; in your dwelling you keep them safe from accusing tongues. (31:20)
You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. (32:7)
For the word of the LORD is right and true; he is faithful in all he does. (33:4)
The LORD loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love. (33:5)
The LORD foils the plans of the nations; he thwarts the purposes of the peoples. But the plans of the LORD stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations (33:10-11)
From heaven the LORD looks down and sees all mankind; from his dwelling place he watches all who live on earth – he who forms the hearts of all, who considers everything they do. (33:13-15)
But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love, to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine. (33:18-19)
The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them. (34:7)
The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing. (34:10)
Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD. (34:11)
The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. (34:17)
The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. (34:18)
A righteous man may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all. (34:19)
The LORD redeems his servants; no one will be condemned who takes refuge in him. (34:22)
Your love, O LORD, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies. (36:5)
Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains, your justice like the great deep. (36:6)
For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light. (36:9)
The wicked plot against the righteous and gnash their teeth at them; but the Lord laughs at the wicked for he knows their day is coming. (36:12-13)
For the power of the wicked will be broken, but the LORD upholds the righteous. (37:17)
The days of the blameless are known to the LORD, and their inheritance will endure forever. In times of disaster they will not wither; in days of famine they will enjoy plenty. (37:18-19)
If the LORD delights in a man’s way, he makes his steps firm; though he stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand. (37:23-24)
I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread. (37:25)
Turn from evil and do good; then you will dwell in the land forever. For the LORD loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones. (37:27-28)
The wicked lie in wait for the righteous, seeking their very lives; but the LORD will not leave them in their power or let them be condemned when brought to trial. (37:32-33)
Wait for the LORD and keep his way. He will exalt you to inherit the land; when the wicked are cut off you will see it. (37:34)
The salvation of the righteous comes from the LORD; he is their stronghold in time of trouble. The LORD helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in him. (37:39-40)
You rebuke and discipline men for their sin; you consume their wealth like a moth – each man is but a breath. (39:11)
I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the LORD. (40:1-3)
Many, O LORD my God, are the wonders you have done. The things you planned for us no one can recount to you; were I to speak and tell of them they would be too many to declare. (40:5)
You are my help and my deliverer; O my God, do not delay. (40:17)
Blessed is he who has regard for the weak, the LORD delivers him in time of trouble. (41:1)
The LORD will protect him and preserve his life; he will bless him in the land and not surrender him to the desire of his foes. The LORD will sustain him on his sickbed and restore him from his bed of illness. (41:2-3)
I know that you are pleased with me, for my enemy does not triumph over me. In my integrity you uphold me and set me in your presence forever. Praise be to the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting, Amen and Amen. (41:11-13)
With your hand you dove out the nations and planted our fathers; you crushed the peoples and made our fathers flourish. It was not by the sword that they won the land, nor did their arm bring them victory; it was your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, for you loved them. (44:2-3)
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea… (46:1-2)

Surely God is my help; the LORD is the one who sustains me. (54:4)

The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still bear fruit in their old age, they will stay fresh and green, proclaiming, “The LORD is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him.” (92:12-15)
The LORD works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed. (103:6)
The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; (103:8-9)
He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth so great is his love for those who fear him. (103:10-11)
As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. (103:12)
As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him. For he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust. (103:13-14)
But from everlasting to everlasting the LORD’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children – with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts. (103:17-18)
The LORD has established his throne in heaven and his kingdom rules over all. (103:19)
The LORD is gracious and righteous; our God is full of compassion. The LORD protects the simplehearted; when I was in great need, he saved me. (116:6)
My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life. (119:50)
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path. (119:105)
If you kept a record of sins, O Lord, who could stand? But with you there is forgiveness; therefore you are feared. (130:3-4) I know that the LORD is great, that our Lord is greater than all gods. Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The LORD is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all he has made. (145:13)
The LORD upholds all those who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down. The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food at the proper time. You open your hand and satisfy the desires of every living thing. (145:14-16)
The LORD is righteous and loving in all his ways and loving toward all he has made. The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. (145:17-18)
He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them. The LORD watches over all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy. (145:19-20)
Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God, the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them - the LORD who remains faithful forever. (146:5-6)
He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets prisoners free, the LORD gives sight to the blind, the LORD lifts up those who are bowed down, the LORD loves the righteous. (146:7-8)
The LORD watches over the alien and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked. (146:9)
The LORD reigns forever, your God, O Zion, for all generations. Praise the LORD. (146:10)
The LORD builds up Jerusalem; he gathers the exiles of Israel. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. (147:2-3)
Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit. The LORD sustains the humble but casts the wicked to the ground. (147:5-6)
The LORD delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love. (147:11) He sends his command to the earth; his word runs swiftly. He has revealed word to Jacob, his laws and decrees to Israel. He has done this for no other nation; they do not know his laws. Praise the LORD. (147:15, 19-20)
He has raised up for his people a horn, the praise of all his saints, of Israel, the people close to his heart. Praise the Lord. (148:14)
For the LORD takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with salvation. (149:4)
Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD. (150:6)
