How to demonstrate the Fear of the LORD...
This could be one of the most important teachings in your entire life. Without the Fear of the LORD – you cannot be fully blessed by God. Psalms 115:13 - He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great. Proverbs 22:4 - Humility and the fear of the LORD bring wealth, honor and life. This means there is a blessing for those who fear Him. Yes, if you live in America, you are blessed whether you believe in God or not. Matthew 5:45 - He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. But we are talking about the complete blessing of God in your life – that He reserves for those who fear him: the distinction that God makes between the wicked and the righteous. If you do not love God, and hate evil, you cannot possibly walk in his full blessing. You are un-bless-able in the deeper things of God. One Pastor said, “God cannot bless, unbless-able behavior.” There are some things that come to everybody, but God’s true and deepest blessings are reserved for those who walk in the fear of the LORD. The Bible states this multiple times and gives many examples.
Without the Fear of the LORD – you cannot have relationships that God can fully bless; your marriage cannot be fully blessed, family, friendships, peers, teammates, co-workers, neighbors. If your friends do not Fear the LORD – you have chosen the wrong friends. You are willing to sacrifice God’s blessing in your life, your calling and your destiny, even the Godly spouse He has for you to marry - to be with those who cannot be fully blessed. If you are not willing to turn them from worldliness to Godliness, and if they refuse, be willing to remove them from your life, you cannot be blessed, and their destruction will come on you.
Choose to Fear the LORD! Learn How! Make it a priority! Choose only friends who fear the LORD, only date someone who fears the LORD, only marry someone who fears the LORD, teach your children to Fear the LORD, encourage your friends to always Fear the LORD – so that you and everyone in your life can overflow with the anointing and favor and blessing of God!
