Love you all, praying for you,

First, what is an obeyer?  One who hears and obeys the voice of God, who walks in His plans for their good!  Why would you want to be one?  Because all of God’s promises and all of His good, are for those who obey.  And most important of all - because that’s what Jesus did.  To be a follower of Christ – you have to live like He did.  He was the ultimate obeyer!  In fact, that’s all He did – as an example for us, so you can fulfill your purpose, like He fulfilled His.  So what are the Eleven Habits of Obeyers?   #1) They Write It Down – that’s how they remember what God told them  #2) They Obey with Time – it’s the essence of life.   #3) They Transform Their Mind – so they think like God thinks.  #4) They Give an Account – that’s how they learn to love God not money.   #5) They Overcome Daily – by the blood of the Lamb and the Word of their testimony  #6)  They Gather - with other obeyers - to provoke one another to obey even more! #7) They Ask Before They Decide – they follow the pattern of discovering His will, and their decisions are different.  #8 - They Are Humble - Obeyers are humble – that’s why they're obeyers.  Humility is the required precedent of obedience.  Something that must come before.  Humility has two parts.  Humility before God, that’s submission - or coming under His authority, and Humility before others – preferring them over you, thinking of others as more important than yourself. (Philippians 2:3)  Humility and obedience are inseparable.  Without humility, you won’t obey God.  And if you are humble, obedience will follow.  The first indication of humility is humility before God.  A willingness to come under His authority to do completely what the Holy Spirit tells you in your spirit, and what the Holy Spirit tells you from God's Word.  That's why PiVAT and PRISM require and demonstrate humility, so He can move you forward in the good He has planned for you.  To be an obeyer, requires humility – a pre-determination, already decided beforehand.  For obeyers, whatever God tells them is a foregone conclusion, they're going to do it no matter what.  Philippians 2:8 – And being found in the form of a human, he humbled himself and become obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.  God says Humility and the fear of the LORD (Respecting Him and loving Him enough to fully obey what He says…) is the beginning of wisdom.  Without humility you won’t obey.  The absence of humility is pride - thinking your way is better than His way.  That's why people don't obey.  With pride comes disgrace, not just the absence of grace, but the opposite of grace, not just God not helping you, but God opposing you.  That is the epidemy of a pointless pursuit.  A no-win game.  Praying that you will review the PRISM Topic - Humility, the PRISM Topic - Humble, and the Relationship Topic - How To Be Humble.   If you want to become something that God says, then soak in what He says about it.  His Word always produces what it's sent for. (Isaiah 55:11)  If humility is the required precedent of Obedience, and God said if you love my you will obey what I tell you...  and if humility is the required precedent of wisdom, and God says above all else get wisdom…  then Humility is more than a virtue, it’s mission critical to success.  It’s what Jesus is.  And it’s what He calls us to be - fully willing to come under what God says – so you can walk in His plans for your good!  Praying that you will get good at being humble.  It draws the favor of God, and others.  It draws you to value and love other people whom God loves just like He loves you.  When you come under God’s authority, He will always show you how to demonstrate His love for others.  Humility is the beginning of obedience, the Fear of the LORD, and wisdom.  It’s the most important heart position for success.  Praying that you will always take the low place, so in due season He will raise you up.

Love you all,
dad
