Love you all, praying for you.
April and Dee working at BOE. Preparing for 15 guests this weekend. God is more than enough. In the Bible, Every verse has a purpose. Every verse has a harvest. Some are bombs, mic drop verses. Others have hidden treasure. But God chose to inspire men of old to write what He said. Praying for you – that you are writing down in your Conversation Log - what He says to you.
Psalm 68:16 Why gaze in envy, O rugged mountains, at the mountain where God chooses to reign, where the LORD himself will dwell forever.
Even mountains shouldn’t envy. We have 15 ministry guests this weekend. Circuit Riders will be coming soon. Every church and ministry has people faithful with their part, in the role God has chosen for them. Here is what God says. Never compare anointings, assignments, or harvest. Rather than wondering, “Why not me?” Always ask… “LORD - what do you want from me? In my anointing, in my assignment, for the harvest that you want to receive through me.” Just like the hand should not say to the foot, ‘we don’t need you.’ Neither should the hand think of the foot, ‘I’d rather be you.’ Comparison is not wise. Comparison leads to envy. Envy always begins with comparison.
Comparison always distracts you from your purpose, from your anointing, from your assignment, from your harvest. Choose Compassion – not Comparison: You have no idea the cost of their anointing. Choose Contribution – not Comparison: If you find yourself tempted to compare. Contribute instead. Pray for them. Ask God, “God, what can I do to help them in their anointing?” Do you want me to contribute something? Prayer? Encouragement? Blessing? Help? Money? Resources? A kind word? The love of Jesus… What seed does God want you to sow? Sow seed – not discord. Sow seed and you’ll never sow discord. No one tears down what they invest in.
Lift your eyes to the fields. They are white unto harvest. Focus on the harvest! Not your co-workers. Lift your eyes! What is your assignment? Sow into it. Keep your hand to the plow. Don’t worry about someone else’s plow. What is your anointing? Keep walking in it. Stir up the gift. Pray in the Spirit. What is your purpose? Ask God to fulfill it. “God, what is my next step?“ Maybe just keep doing what you are doing! Don’t grow weary in doing well. Your season of harvest is coming! Maybe – Choose Humility. Maybe – reach one more… love one more. Ask God who is the next person that He wants you to sow into.
When you are praising, you’re not comparing. When you are praising, you look up. When you praise, you see Him! When you see Him, He’ll show you what He is looking at… Fields white unto harvest. (Those He loves and longs for.)
Praying for you… That you will Contribute – Not Compare. That you will sow seed, not discord.
That you will lift your eyes, that you will praise, that you will see the harvest, and be so very thankful, content and fruitful in your anointing. That you would come alongside many in the obedience of Christ.
Love you all,
