Love you all, praying for you.
Today is just full of testimony. God is growing people like crazy. Isn’t it funny what just a little obedience will do… Yesterday. God showing me.
Proverbs 7:21 With persuasive words she led him astray. She seduced him with her smooth talk.
This is the chapter about the young man who lacked sense, stupid, walking at twilight down the street near her house. But this really isn’t about avoiding prostitutes, or cheating on your girlfriend. Not really even about boys or girls. It’s about feet and words. What voice are you listening to? What thoughts are you allowing to enter your mind that are different from what you know for sure is true. First, where are your feet? If they are where they shouldn’t be, you are exposed to voices you would have never even heard? Notice those ‘persuasive words’ don’t lead you to curse God, they lead you astray… a little off… off center. So what should you do?
#1 Keep His Words, Store Up His Commands. How? (PRISM - Conversation Log – Write it Down) Constantly use your mouth to fill your heart with His Word and false voices will lose their persuasion.
#2 Commit to obey – out loud with your mouth! Say to wisdom, “You are my sister.” Say to understanding, “You are my close relative.”
#3 Check PiVAT before going down any street. That’s not what God told you to do at twilight today (when you did PiVAT before dinner last night…)
#4 Do what God told you to do this hour! And you’ll never be on her street near her corner.
Praying for you, That you will constantly speak with your mouth what God says. That you will constantly speak your commitment to obey him. (like David did). That you will always do only and exactly what God told you to do – in this hour. That you will just stay in PiVAT all day today.
Praying for you, That the moment any other voice tries to persuade you… You would declare, “It is written,” – and immediately PiVAT back to what God told you to do this hour. Praying that you will know the joy that His presence and obedience always brings. Nothing can compete with it.
Love you all,
