Love you all, praying for you,

I just love God’s Word.  It is the instruction book for success.  Not only does it tell you of the Holiness, the power and the authority of God, and what He demands of the human race that He created – it tells you of His great love for you.   It also tells you of the good that He wants to give you, and clear instruction for how to get there.  It is the greatest success manual ever written.  There is God’s way, and there is man’s way.  His Way is way better.   Proverbs 21:5 – The plans of the diligent lead to profit, as surely as haste leads to poverty.  Praying that you will take the time today to review the PRISM Topic – Diligent.  It may mean more than you think.  Most people think that diligence is effort. That’s only half of the equation.  The effort you put in only helps you if you have the right plan.  The first thing to be diligent in is - you need to have a plan.  What are you doing, and what order are you doing it in? If you are doing the wrong thing – diligence doesn’t matter – it doesn’t bring profit.  It brings a result – but it’s not profitable to you.  And Diligence is first – in discovering the right plan and the right way to approach it.  There’s a difference between God’s Way and your way.  First be diligent to seek God’s plan – and His will for you, then put all your heart into the effort you put into it.  The contrast of this verse is haste.  It warns against haste, not haste in work, but haste before plan.  The haste which skips over the planning stage.  God isn’t saying don’t work with haste.  The best most productive workers, not only do a magnificent job in their work, they do it with excellence.  But they also do it efficiently, they’re fast, they use speed.  That’s part of what Diligent means…  (See that PRISM Topic – it’s a great reminder).  The haste God warns against – is starting not without a plan (although that too is unwise) the haste God warns against is starting without His plan.  Without first diligently pursuing his plan, and then the diligent pursuit of the plan He revealed.  As a new month begins.  Are you diligent or not?  In God’s Word – it mentions “the first month" thirty-two times!  "On the fourteenth day of the first month…"  That’s just one month.  God clearly has something for you in the first month, and the second month...  Praying that you will know His plans for you this month.  Praying that you will ask Him for your PiVAT Monthly for this month.  If you are a few days in, don’t worry, just ask Him now.  God has diligence for you, but the first step of diligence is getting His plan.  That’s the plan that will succeed, that’s the plan that will bring a profit.  A return of good, of blessing, of favor, and of great reward.  It’s not just money… Every plan of God brings a profit, in the spirit, in the natural, in relationship with God, and relationships with others.  Praying that you will be diligent this month – to ask Him for His plan – each week, each day, and even this hour.  Praying that you will know the joy of diligence, (the joy of obedience)… It’s the precious possession of a man.

Love you all,
dad
