Love you all, praying for you,
I just love God’s Word. It is 100% true, an accurate account, from eye witnesses, no matter what the liars say… but it’s crazy because people are crazy. Matthew 15:30 – Great crowds came to him, bringing the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute and many others and laid them at his feet; and he healed them. The people were amazed when they saw the mute speaking, the crippled made well, the lame walking and the blind seeing. And they praised the God of Israel. (Now that’s not crazy. Why wouldn’t Jesus, the One true God, the One who said, “Let their be light,” why wouldn’t He be able to put back into order the things he has created, when He is Sovereign in power over all the work of the enemy. Verse 32 - Jesus called his disciples to him and said, “I have compassion for these people; they have already been with me three days and have nothing to eat. I do not want to send them away hungry, or they may collapse on the way.” His disciples answered, “Where could we get enough bread in this remote place to feed such a crowd?” (Now that’s crazy… this is déjà vu.) “How many loaves do you have?” Jesus asked. “Seven,” they replied, “and a few small fish.” Notice they didn’t say, we found a boy with a lunch box and he has only five loaves and two fish. No, that happened last chapter, maybe 6 months to a year ago at most? Now they have seven loaves and a few small fish, and the crowd isn’t even as big as it was last time, and they have just watched Jesus all day long heal everybody, from the crippled, the blind, the lame, the mute and probably leprosy as well… And the first thing out of their mouth… was doubt, words of their own limitations, rather than words that confirmed, attested to, and came into agreement with - the limitless power of God. Verse 35 – He told the crowd to sit down on the ground. Then he took the seven loaves and the fish, and when he had given thanks, he broke them and gave them to the disciples, and they in turn to the people. They all ate and were satisfied. Afterward the disciples picked up seven basketfulls of broken pieces that were left over. The number of those who ate was four thousand, besides women and children. This is the second time Jesus did it. A miracle just like before, but their words were doubt not faith. Where could we find enough… it’s not about you. You don’t have to find anything, this is about Jesus and His plans from the Father. What do you have? What can you contribute? Prayer, Praise, Words of faith… strengthening the faith of your brothers and sisters… then give that! And watch Him do the rest. It’s not like He hasn’t done this before… He’s done bigger miracles than this. What are you facing right now? What are you needing right now? What’s your ‘impossible’ right now? He’s done bigger miracles than this. He’s done it before, He will do it again! And His perfect plan, encompasses not only this mountain that you now face, but every need of your whole life - of your entire generation! He’s accomplishing things way bigger, than just your need no matter how big it is. But in every moment of truth, your words will always reveal your heart. They will be your limit, or they will remove all limitations. Praying that you will guard your first words, your first reaction, by activating your words of faith continually – before a first reaction catches you by surprise. Praying that you will know God’s Word, that you will limit any other false inputs, and that you will fill your mouth with the Word of God. So faith rises. Faith – believing what you can’t see. It becomes your evidence. If God said it, you can believe it. If God did it before, He will do it again. If God has never done it before, you just haven’t experienced it, and if it is brand new, God will do what He said He would do. Every miracle He will do, every prophesy He will fulfill, every miracle he will perform, has already happened outside of time, we are just walking through the time constraint right now. No different than a movie script has already been written, but the camera’s are rolling and we are just walking through the scenes… God is faithful, there is no limit on his power, what He does is because of His great faithfulness, not your worthiness, your righteousness is in Christ alone, not you. And if God said it, He will do it, you can believe it. So praying that you will invest your words and your prayers into what He has promised, so your faith will grow in the waiting, and your joy will come in the morning. And the joy that you have right now will sustain you in the peace that only He provides. Love you all, dad
