Love you all, praying for you.

Praise God, He is teaching me every day!  PRISM is so powerful – it keeps me in His Word – it helps me keep my heart after His heart.  So thankful for tools and habits.  Habits prevail where motivation fails.  Praying that PRISM has you in His presence daily – where He can unfold His Word to you.  God reminding me recently.  Psalm 105:4  Look to the LORD and His strength, seek his face always.  Immediately it struck me – how different God’s ways are from our ways, His thoughts from our thoughts.  Over many years of this ministry and many hundreds of Daily Calls – we’ve found the most common answers for the best question ever – What do you need most from God today?  have been these three:  Wisdom, Peace, Strength.  But just like God – His perspective is different from mine.  Look to the LORD and His strength – not myself and my strength or lack thereof.  What strength do I need today?  His strength is sufficient, in fact His strength is made complete in my weakness.  His strength completes mine, and overflows beyond what I could ever need!  When I look to the LORD and His strength – my strength is renewed.  Seek His face always…  There are a lot of things that I seek - even from God.  There are just a lot of things I need from Him.  What I need Him to speak, to reveal, to do, to provide, to supply, to fix, to establish, to fulfill.  But God says seek my face always – before you seek what you need from me always.   Praying that you will seek His face today.  His presence – is the first way to seek His face.   Are you too busy to spend 5 or 10 minutes – just worshipping in His presence?  Then you're too busy.  Are you already tackling your todo list today when you got up in the morning - before spending your PRISM time in His Presence?  Slow down, you’ll go faster.  5 minutes with Him - can get more done than 5 hours or 5 years in your own strength - in your own plans.  When I look to Him first, and His strength, when I seek His face – my perspective completely changes.  That which I thought were such pressing needs from Him – really is replaced by my true need – for Him.   Praying that His Presence will be your priority today – no matter how busy your day is.  Praying that you will check back with Him all day long – that you would live in PiVAT today.  The busier you are - the more you need to.  Many of those crazy busy days – might not be what He has for you.  Be sure it’s Him and it’s His timing.  Rushing ahead of him just causes rework, and misses out on what He wants to do.   Just ask – He will tell you.  He’s like that…  He promised.  Praying that you would make PRISM your priority today.  That you would seek His Word.  It's how you seek His face.  When you are face to face with someone – that’s where the personal and intimate conversations happen.  God want’s time with you face to face, not "drive-by" time with Him.  Get that too, but be sure you meet with Him face to face.  Praying that everything He has for you to do, and everything He has for you of himself today – that you would seek Him for it.  That you would look to the LORD and His strength.  Your strength is small, His is great.  Praying that you will seek that one on one conversation with Him – more than just once today.  Praying that you would get His undivided attention.  It’s easy – He's waiting for you - just give Him your undivided attention.  Praying that you would be where He is – so you can see where He’s looking, see what He’s doing, hear what He’s saying.  That’s where your strength is renewed and you get His direction for you, wisdom, and new understanding of His greatness and His glory.  A new revelation of His great love for you, His wonderful plans for you, and His love for others and His plans for them.  Praying that you will seek His face today so you will find it.  That you would look to the LORD and His strength always.  So your strength is renewed, your perspective is changed, and you will see who He really is, and what He can do – when you seek Him, and find Him.

Love you all,
dad
