Daily Huddle - Sat  Feb 9, 2019     Mess And Stress (Part 4)

So in any area of your life.   God speaks – He brings you to your “Ole Miss” moment.

He gives revelation…

What will the devil do to keep you from the Freedom God is bringing you to?  What could steal this revelation from you?  What could prevent you from ever walking in victory here?  What are the birds that come and steal the seed?

Proverbs 12:13 – An evil man is trapped by his sinful talk, but the righteous will escape…

What do YOU SAY?   In that moment of truth.  When God brings you to your “Ole Miss Moment…’  What comes out of your mouth?

What is evil and wicked?  Anything that does not fully align with God’s truth (What God said)  What is sinful talk?  Anything that falls short of God’s best for you.

Here is how you know a person that rejects God’s revelation for them (in an area).  They will immediately say something different.    “Relationships are more important to me than a perfect house.”   (just like the kid that says, “It’s not that bad, Mom”)

Their first statement reveals their heart.  What’s in your heart can prevent you from ever receiving the revelation and freedom God had for you.   But notice the deception…  No one said anything about a perfect house… The revelation is simply a new habit  (It usually is.)

Those two are false equivalents (or false opposites).  They are not mutually exclusive terms at all.  It’s a lie.    But even worse… It’s not someone else lying to you, it’s what YOU SAID… out of your mouth.  Too powerful, what YOU SAY is what you will believe.

Your words will imprison you, or they will come into agreement with God so you can be set free.  Relationships and Order are not mutually exclusive.   You don’t have to sacrifice one to gain the other.  Just because you value relationships (most people do) doesn’t mean you cannot be set free from mess and stress.

That’s like saying, “Relationships are more important to me than taking a shower.”  No one says that.  People would look at them funny,  But they say the first one all the time.   In reality taking a shower does not prevent you from building relationships.  In fact, not taking a shower could eventually limit your relationships… just like mess and stress do.   So go ahead and invest in relationships… but you should also probably consider – jumping in that shower.

Did you notice how powerful words are?  What you say will trap you or release you.

The words you say will prevent what God is trying to give you (when He reveals something to you)  Or… they will bring you into His new reality for you.

What are the first words out of your mouth?    God, is this something that you want for me?  Or…  “I don’t do it that way…”   In life, your words surely determine freedom or slavery; whether you will be set free, or continue in bondage.

From the fruit of his lips a man is filled with good things as surely as the work of his hands rewards him.  - Proverbs 12:14

Praying for you, that God will forever deliver you from contrary initial words – to his revelation - that could cancel that revelation and the victory and freedom He has for you..

Praying also, that God will forever deliver you from Mess and Stress, by simply humbling yourself, and setting your resolve to…  Leave and Enter – Every Surface Clean.

And also praying for you that the first words out of your mouth will set you free every time God leads you to a new “Ole Miss Moment.”

Love you all,
dad
