Love you all, praying for you.
Praise God! Living today in “You speak, I move” – mode. It’s crazy that God will literally lead every step of our day if we just ask him. “How long?” and “What’s Next?” Heavy day today. Three part Daily Huddle. Here goes. God has been really impressing on me. “Natural before Spiritual.” Haven’t fully unwrapped this yet. But He’s stretching my understanding. MESS and STRESS Where there is mess, there is stress. Is mess a relative term? “Jimmy, clean your room! What a mess!” “It’s not that bad, Mom.” Jimmy doesn’t think it’s a mess. Mom and everyone else knows better. What is a mess? Something where it doesn’t belong (something unfinished, something lacking, an incomplete assignment, something left undone). What is a bigger mess? 2 somethings where they do not belong. What is a total mess? 3 or more somethings where they do not belong. Did God tell you to put this here? Where did God tell you it belongs? It’s His stuff. You didn’t ask? You should. I went past the field of the sluggard, past the field of the man who lacked sense. Thorns had grown up everywhere… and the stone wall was in ruins... - Proverbs 24:31-34 A mess. Thorns where they do not belong. Stones where they do not belong (on the ground, not on the wall) God is a God of Order, not of disorder. James 3:16 – For where there is jealousy and selfishness, there is also disorder and every kind of evil. So God considers disorder in the same group as jealousy, selfishness, and every kind of evil? Wow. Are you sure? Well, let me read that verse again. “For where there is jealousy and selfishness, there is also disorder and every kind of evil…” Well… He certainly doesn’t consider it a virtue... God sets things in order. It’s what He does. God redeems them, buys them back, sets them in order again. God never brings disorder unless He is bringing judgment. Disorder is a state of things lacking, out of place, incomplete, unfinished. God is the opposite. Jesus said. “It is finished.” God is a finisher. Obeyers do things immediately. They don’t wait until later, or tomorrow. Whoever is faithful in little is faithful also in much. Natural before Spiritual, Lions and Bears before Giants, The sling before the sword, Sheep before subjects, The pasture before the palace, The little before the much. (See Part 2)
