Love you all, praying for you!
Praise God for Saturday’s - a down day, an off-day, not workless, but not the normal workday. There's flexibility to get some other things done. The problem with that is. There are way to many things to get done! Even the weekend is not enough time, and Monday will be here before you know it! That’s why PiVAT is just as important if not more so on the weekends as it is on weekdays. Weekends also have additional obligations, and distractions. What Do You Need Most From God Today? What is the Number One Thing He Is Telling You To Do Today? When Is He Telling You To Do It? Saturday’s have a way of evaporating on you! The time blocks may be bigger, there may be social or recreational things God has for you that a normal workday or weekday doesn’t allow for. But Obedience is just as important if not more during off days – than it is on workdays or school days. It is so important to distinguish between your plans and His Plans For you! Off Days are when your PiVAT Maybe to do list starts screaming at you! Praying that God will by His Holy Spirit make a clear, unmistakable distinction between His PiVAT for you – the plans He has for you today, and your PiVAT Maybe – the things you think you ‘gotta do.’ Praying that you will take the time to review How2 PiVAT Maybe. They say 5 minutes of planning saves 5 hours of work. How much more would discernment save you! How important it is to distinguish between all the things that you think "need to get done," and THE Thing God wants you to do in this hour. If you will trust Him to set your schedule - you will see what success looks like on a whole 'nother level. His plans for you are way, way better than yours! Infinitely better! He knows where you're going, and how to get you there, you don't. You've never been this way before, He's been there already! How2 PiVAT Maybe will help you greatly – it’s discernment practice.
Praying that you will know beyond a shadow of a doubt - what God told you to do, and at what time, and that you would be as diligent in your obedience on Saturday or Sunday - as you will be on Monday. Praying that His Presence is still your priority on off-days – even more than weekdays. Ask Him if He wants to take you away this weekend for any extra time with Him, in His Presence, in His Word. Mark 6:30 – The apostles gathered around Jesus and reported to him all they had done and taught. Then because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.” So they went away by themselves in a boat to a solitary place.” This was a hugely busy week for the disciples, have you ever had one of these? Things were crazy at work! But on the weekend, Jesus had a different pace for them. He wanted to get them away – so they could be at rest In Him, and get refreshed in His presence. What does God have for you this weekend – in a quiet place to refresh and refill you? Maybe this weekend already has significant commitments. So maybe it’s just an hour. Are you willing to spend an hour with Him? If you don’t ask Him what Hour, and be diligent to “come away with Him” during that hour – other activities will certainly consume it. Praying that you will know what God is telling you to do today. And that every weekend – His Presence would be your priority, so that you can be refreshed in Him.
Praying that God would direct your steps – every day, not just weekdays. That His presence would always be your priority, that when He speaks you will listen, where He invites you, you will follow. That your soul and spirit and mind and body would be refilled and refreshed. It’s how you truly walk in all the Good that He has stored up for you. It all begins in His presence, getting away with Him. His love for you endures forever, especially today.
Love you all,
