Love you all, praying for you.

God was reminding me this morning about fully receiving His Word of truth...  That I should never let my physical life experience limit my understanding or receiving of His Eternal Spiritual truth.  Here’s what that means.  God said – “Let us make man in our image…. male and female created He them.  God is Spirit, not flesh and blood.  He is beyond male and female gender, His Entity – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – the image He created us in – covers the full spectrum of what we in our human experience consider gender specific.  Sometimes He gives instruction that the limits of the English language communicate as ‘man’ and sometimes these truths are communicated as 'woman.'  Unless specifically describing man or woman or husband or wife roles and responsibilities, these instructions are to humans – not just men or women.  It takes humility, chauvinists and feminists alike could miss it.  Rather than – writing it off as not applying to me, the heart of humility always asks – "God what do you have for me to learn and apply - I will surely do it."   I’ll give you two examples.  Psalms 25:12 – Who then, is the man who fears the LORD?  He will instruct him in the way he should choose.  What a promise.  It applies to both men and women alike.  Or the entire picture of the bride of Christ, or the wisdom of Proverbs 31.  Humility receives truth, Pride precludes it.  Wisdom and understanding cannot reside in the proud.  Praying that you will always seek God with humility, to apply all truth that He has for you to prosper you and establish you in the His ways that He can bless.

God reminding me this morning of a powerful verse.  Proverbs 12:27 – ...the precious possession of a man is diligence (obviously talking to humans).   What is God calling you to be diligent in today?  Diligent in Praise?  Diligent in Worship?  Diligent in His Word?  Diligent in your career, or career preparation? Diligent in another area or possession that you have been assigned stewardship responsibility of?  Diligent in relationships?  Diligent in Prayer?  Diligent in serving, or in seeking His exact will for today this week, or this month?

Please click this link as soon as you finish this Huddle – PRISM Topic – Diligent.  It will encourage you in the Diligence God has for you. I was surprised by the two distinct parts of diligence.  If God says this is your precious possession – how are you attending to it? How are you valuing it? What time are you investing into it? Praying that this PRISM Topic today will encourage you greatly.  Every single thing God has entrusted to you has purpose.  Diligence has a purpose – to glorify God, and accelerate you.  Praying that this PRISM Topic is a great encouragement today.  And finally, remember – if it’s not God, it doesn’t count.  Diligent in Tarsus doesn’t help you, when God told you to go to Nineveh.

Praying for you - that you will know exactly what God has called you to do today, and that you would be diligent in doing it – and that even how you do it – would reflect the wonder that HE is!

Love you all,
dad
