Love you all, praying for you!

God reminding me of something recently.  What are Sunday’s for?  Sunday’s are for worship, Sunday’s are for remembering, Sunday’s are for Thanksgiving,  Sunday’s are for Testimony. Sunday’s are for relationships, Sunday’s are for rest, and Sundays are for seeking.  The Jewish Sabbath is actually sundown Friday, to sundown Saturday.  But now we celebrate the Sabbath on Sunday.  The first day of the week, Resurrection Day.  A day of rest is not the absence of all activity.  You got up, your made your bed, you took a shower, you went to church.  All activities.  But that day of rest – is really a day of rest from your normal workday, and an opportunity to reflect, to remember, to thank Him, to thank Him, to build relationships.  What’s the purpose of church?  Worship and bless others.  Hear the Word preached and give and receive testimony.  Many people go to church to sing a song and listen to a sermon.  It’s what many consider worship.  But worship also includes what you do every day – to the best of your ability – as long as it’s what God told you to do (your reasonable act of worship).  But Sunday’s are important to reflect on God’s goodness to you this week, as well as, come together as the body of Christ.   If you’re still living  - He’s blessed you!  If you accomplished anything – it was through the power He gives.  And the relationship time you have – is really best used to share and hear testimony of what God has done this week.  Few people understand the power of the testimony.  That’s why Daily Calls are so important.  They constantly focus you on what God told you to do, but also what God has done.  Even Sunday’s  - the people you meet at church – you might not be doing a Daily Call with them.  But you can still help them discover their testimony.  It’s part of Winning Souls.  God says its wise.  Everyone has a testimony.  One of the greatest blessings of being in Christ – we can help others discover their testimony!  It will help them overcome.  Rather than just “How you doin?”  They’ll say – “Good, How are you?”  “I’m doing well.”  Maybe add a follow-up question.   So what did God do this week?  And just listen.  They won’t be used to the question…  It will stop them, and if they take a moment to think, and remember, and share what God did.  You will have just helped them overcome - with their testimony!  Before you go, just have a 10 second testimony of your own – that gives God credit for any of the multiple blessings that He gave you this week.   You’ll overcome too.  If the conversation progresses, consider asking them The Best Question Ever (see this relationship topic) It’s a habit that will change their life and yours!  What did God do this week?  And What Do You Need Most From God today (or ‘this week’)?  - are questions that will release.  They release the power of the Testimony, and the power of God in their life.  They help people remember, Give Him glory, and get hope for what God will do.  Praying that your questions today – will focus you on Him, and help focus other people on Him.  No better focus ever!  And finally, I’m praying that you will take time to day to seek God for His plans for you this week.  PiVAT Weekly is so important on Sunday’s.  It’s how you hear what God has planned.  If you don’t take the time, you won’t hear, if you don’t hear, how can you do it?  And if you don’t do it, you can’t get to where He longs to lead you to – this week.   If you ask, He’ll tell you, and where He leads – you can follow.  It’s good.  It’s how you get to the good that He has for you.

Love you all,
dad
