Love you all, praying for you.
God reminding me recently. “I can speak through anybody.” God has two words. Logos and Rhema. Logos is his written Word – through the cannon of Scripture. Rhema is the Holy Spirit’s still small voice in your spirit. But He also speaks through the counsel – even the testimony of others. He can speak through donkey’s He can certainly speak through obeyers. Praying that you are in His Word Daily – PRISM will put you there – where the Holy Spirit brings His Word to life – for your present instruction in your current situation. Praying that you are faithful in PiVAT before dinner – and PiVAT Weekly on Sunday - that’s Rhema Word from the Holy Spirit – delivering God’s plans for you for tomorrow, for this week, and this month. Praying that you are in a Daily Call – obeying Hebrews 3:13 – not only will you be overcoming by the blood of the Lamb and the Word of your testimony – you will be overcoming by theirs too! There’s nothing like the revelation, and inspiration that God can give you through obeyers. Your Daily Call puts you in the direct counsel of an obeyer. Sometimes the best counsel you can receive – isn’t even counsel… it’s testimony. Watching others obey, and hearing and seeing the testimony that God gives them – what He does in response to their obedience - is challenging, compelling, life-altering - if you apply what they're doing. I’m walking with a young man – who along with His wife – are becoming obeyers at a ridiculous level. Doing things God tells them, even if some people think it's foolish. They’re making decisions – not on blind faith – but on the Word of God - Holy Spirit led direction - which in faith is taking them to new places. Sometimes what God tells you is not easy, it’s not familiar – but obedience always moves you forward. My friend made an interesting statement. (Praying that you are using your Conversation Log – for your Daily Calls - letting God speak through whomever and whatever He wants… Praying that you Value God’s Word enough to write it down – no matter form it comes in.) My friend said this… “If I don’t obey – now I’m just living in the chaos of disobedience." How true is that. Disobedience always brings chaos… Where there is chaos - there is often disobedience. (Chaos – any mixed mass without due form or order, as in a chaos of materials. Chaos - confusion, disorder, a state in which the parts are undistinguished. Disobedience always brings mess, and mess always brings stress. Disobedience brings confusion and disorder. Confusion because if you don’t obey, or obey fully – God is still waiting, while you think He's saying something more. Sometimes He’s just waiting for you to do what He said. You don’t get more, until you do the first thing. Sometimes when God is waiting, we can start assuming. Often when God is not speaking, but waiting (on our obedience) we think what we’re hearing is Him, when it’s not. That’s confusing. Disobedience always brings confusion and disorder. So… is their any confusion, or disorder in your life? Is there an area that's a mess? Messed up? Not really in order? It could be natural, or relational, or spiritual. If you allow a decision or two of disobedience, or delayed obedience. If you’re faithful in somethings, but unfaithful in others. Confusion and disorder can remain. It prevents your progress, it delays your deliverance, it backlogs your blessing. And God always starts with the little, first. The things people think don't really matter. First obey in the little, the natural, the seemingly unspiritual, or unimportant, and God can entrust you with the bigger things. Luke 16:10-11. Praying that obedience will be a passion and a joy – that you will ask God – even in the little things – God am I fully obeying you in this area of my life? Forgive me LORD, and would you tell me the first step to take from here? I will take it immediately - I want to be on that path of obedience - not matter what it costs. Praise God! His mercy is forever, His grace is sufficient. If you notice an area that has chaos in your life,,, disorder, confusion – chances are you are not obeying or obeying completely in something. If so, your thinking might be clouded, you don’t value the little things that God values. If you find yourself thinking – that doesn’t matter – a little white lie, a little delay, a little mess, to busy to pray today, just 5 minutes late, just venting a little, not complaining, just explaining… the things you consider as minor – might not be minor to God. Hebrews 3:5 – And Moses indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant – for a testimony of what would be said later. Praying that you will be faithful in all your house – everything that He has entrusted to you. Because it’s God’s house – not just the physical, but the spiritual, and the relational – whatever He has entrusted to you. Praying that you will be humble, honest, and resolved to do the first thing God tells you. Whether dip seven times, or go back and say thank you, or go the extra mile, or pull the weeds and fix the fence. Praying that you will be resolute to establish the habits that help you obey fully! You will see God replace chaos with order, confusion with clarity, delays with progress, and backlogs with blessing! He loves you – all His plans for you are GOOD! You can trust Him! Love you all, dad
