Love you all, praying for you,

Have you ever had to wait for something?  Where things are now out of your hands and you just have to wait?   There’s a funny thing about the wait…  your wait reveals your faith.  Your wait reveals your belief.  So is your wait weighty or weightless?  Fearful or fearless, doubtful or doubtless?   Some people wait in doubt, some people wait in fear, some people wait in unbelief, or disbelief, they wonder if, instead of believing that…  Whatever God said, He will surely do, it will surely come to pass.  Your wait can be weight-ful or weight-free, waity or waitless, praiseful, or praiseless, doubtful or doubtless.  Your burden is heavy or your burden is light.  So how do you wait?  It depends on your faith.  Do you wonder while you are waiting? Do you doubt while you are waiting? Do you fear while you are waiting? Do you complain while you are waiting?  Praying that you will wait well, because your wait reveals your faith.  Praying that you will praise well, because your praise impacts your faith.  Praying that you will pray well, because your prayers reveal your faith, in the middle of the wait.  A lot of life is in the middle, what God said He will fulfill is not here yet, but is on the way.  Psalm 115:1 – Not to us, O LORD, not to us, but to your Name be the glory, because of your love and your faithfulness.  Why do the nations say, “Where is their God?” Our God is in heaven; he does whatever pleases him.  Psalms 135:5 – I know that the LORD is great, that our Lord is greater than all gods.  The LORD does whatever pleases him, in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas and all their depths.  Psalms 75:5 – To the arrogant I say, ‘Boast no more,’ and to the wicked, ‘Do not lift up your horn.  Do not lift your horn against heaven; do not speak so defiantly.  Victory does not come from the east or west or from the desert, (no one can exalt themselves) – It is God alone who judges: He brings one down, he exalts another.  Proverbs 21:30 – There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan that can succeed against the LORD.  So what do you do when the odds seem stacked against you?  Romans 4:19 – Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead…  --- in other words – it seemed like it was over.  Yet he did not waiver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God.  The wait reveals your faith, your faith can be strengthened in the waiting, your belief grows in the waiting.  Abraham gave glory to God in the waiting, He praised in the waiting, He prayed in the waiting.  Not in doubt and fear but in faith and hope and belief.  Joshua 23:14 – Now I am about to go the way of all the earth.  You know with all your heart and soul that not one of all the good promises the LORD your God gave you has failed.  Every promise has been fulfilled; not one has failed.   So if you’re waiting, I’m praying that you will wait well, that you will praise well, that your faith and belief will grow in the waiting, that you would praise, and pray giving glory to God, unwavering, not like waves tossed by every wind, but having done all – to stand. Ephesians 6:14 – Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,  (you’ll notice it’s not yours, it’s His righteousness that you are putting on), and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes with the gospel of peace.  In addition to this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.  Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.  And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.  Praying that you will wait well, praying that your wait will be not weighty, but weightless.  That everyone will see how you wait, so their faith will grow like God grows yours.

Love you all,
dad
