Love you all, praying for you.

Ridiculous Daily Calls.  God wants to speak to you every day, direct your steps, encourage you through His Word an through your Daily Call – one sharpening one other.

Facing some challenges right now.   What do you do when facing something big?  A giant, a mountain…  When you don’t know what to do…

2 Kings 6:15  When the servant of the man of God got up and went out early the next morning, an army with horses and chariots had surrounded the city. “Oh no, my lord, what shall we do?” the servant asked.  “Don’t be afraid,” Elisha answered, “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”  And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes LORD, so that he may see.”  Then the LORD opened the young man’s eyes, and when he looked up, he saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

Psalm 68:17  The chariots of God are tens of thousands and thousands of thousands, the LORD has come from Sinai into His Sanctuary.  Overwhelming force.  Thousands of thousands.  More than you can count.  These are Spiritual forces.  Heavenly powers, supernatural force, which control and have assignment over natural regions.

What are you facing?  What is broken in your life?  Not working well… Marriage? Parenting? Relationships? Career? Finances?  What is not working in your life the way God wants it to, the way He designed.  What in your life does not reflect God, His goodness and the good that He has stored up for you?   It is a Spiritual problem – at its root.   A lie, a lack of knowledge, a lack of obedience…

Are you willing to humble yourself?
Are you willing to ask Him for wisdom? Are you willing to do whatever He tells you – no matter what?   Are you willing to change what you have been doing, or thinking, or saying?  And walk differently than you are right now?  Then you have been?

Step 1:  Ask God for wisdom – about this situation (specifics)   If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God who gives liberally without finding fault, and it will be given to him.  -  James 1:5  That word – liberally – (haplos), bountifully, generously…  comes from the root (haplotes) meaning ‘folded together” which means single (clearly).   Ask God for wisdom and He will give it to you – not just generously, but specifically… clearly - for this situation.  So you can know what to do from here.  Right now, from this point forward.  Practically.  He promised!

Step 2.  Commit yourself to obey – whatever God tells you – with your mouth – out loud!  Give me understanding and I will obey your instructions; I will put them into practice with all my heart.  – Psalm 119:34   I will always obey your instructions forever and ever.  -  Psalms 119:44

Step 3:  Take the first step He tells you.   So Abraham rose early in the morning, saddled his donkey and took two of his servants with him, and his son Isaac.  Then He cut the wood for the burnt offering and set out for the place of which God had told him.  – Genesis 22:3

Step 4:  Then take the next step.   So Naaman went down and dipped himself in the Jordan SEVEN times, according to the Word of the man of God.  And his flesh was restored like the flesh of a young child, and he was healed.  – 2 Kings 5:14

Whatever is not working in your life, or not working the way God wants it to…  Ask Him, then Do it.  Obedience always brings restoration.   Praying for you that God would reveal anything that doesn’t reflect His Ways in your life.   That you would humbly ask and obey – and it would be restored.  That in every area of your life and relationships and efforts…  That your life will reflect the Goodness that He has for you.  That your testimony would always be of the goodness of the LORD!

Love you all,
dad
