Love you all, praying for you,

Are you thankful?  Does a heart of thanksgiving define you?  Would others say – she’s always thankful for something. He always finds something to be thankful for.  Have you noticed that thankful people are the funnest to be around?  The best attitude is the attitude of gratitude.  It draws God to you, it draws blessing to you, it draws others to you, it draws favor to you.  It keeps you humble.  It’s why others like to be around you – because if you’re thankful and you’re grateful, you won’t steal credit, you’ll give credit.  You won’t be selfish, you’ll be selfless.  You realize how good God is, and you appreciate what others do, and do for you.  When you’re thankful – you gotta say something.  And when you’re thankful for other people, you gotta tell them.  And when you tell them – they just feel better about themselves.  And people who make others feel better about themselves – attract others around them.  They attract like minded people, and their circle of people become a circle of excellence - other thankful people.  Thankful people work harder – have you noticed?  Those who aren’t thankful – expect others to do for them, rather than them do for others.  When you are thankful – you attract thankful people – who appreciate God and you and others.  They appreciate opportunity – and before you know it they are appreciating opportunities that others wouldn’t even recognize.  They turn setbacks into opportunities – they turn options into opportunities, and the effort they put in with others of like mind, becomes a joy - it generates excitement.  It’s how great things are accomplished – and great people become greater.  It’s how you build a life that’s an absolute joy, where you are thankful for the hope that God gives, and His provision that is always there!  The more thankful you are - the better your life will become!  Thankful people - they just come to believe that there will be a better tomorrow.  Because they know the promises of God.  They are thankful for today – so they will be thankful for tomorrow.  Praying that you will always give thanks with a grateful heart.  That thanksgiving is the clothing that you wear – like the garment of praise – which is always a garment of thanksgiving.  All Praise leads to thanksgiving – it builds gratitude in your heart.  Praying that you’ll start a Thanksgiving List in your Conversation Log.  It will take off before you know it.   Here’s a question you could ask today.  What are you most thankful for?  Just that ice-breaker in a conversation with someone – will bear fruit immediately.  It will refocus them, it could change their entire day.  If nothing else, if they can’t think of anything – you can help them, you can at least say – I’m thankful for you.  Just another opportunity to help people discover their testimony - how God is working in their life.  It’s how you draw people to His kindness that leads to repentance.  It’s how you draw them to the love of God and the Good that He has for them - that He’s already revealing in our life – if we will just stop striving or complaining long enough to see it.   Praying that the Holy Spirit will lead you to review the Relationship Topic - Thankful 100.  100 things to be thankful for – that are not money or stuff.  And that He will even lead you to add to it!  Praying that your Praise will grow, so your thanksgiving will grow – that it will build an attitude, a propensity, and a personality of gratitude that would draw God’s blessing, and others to you.  So you can make a difference – in them.  The best gift you could give someone - is to help them discover their testimony.  Thanksgiving always brings us to God's best.

Love you all,
dad
