Love you all, praying for you,

There is an old hymn… On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand.  It is interesting to see how fragile societies and economies really are.  What we assume will last forever – will not.  Some people – a vast majority may not be affected by a threat, or even concerned with it – but the ripple effect it causes can impact everyone.  Psalms 11:2 – When the foundations are being destroyed, what can the righteous do?  The LORD is in his holy temple; the LORD is on his heavenly throne.  He observes everyone on earth; his eyes examine them.  God’s Word speaks clearly - about these times, and all times.  Proverbs 22:3 – The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and suffer for it.  A word to the wise.  Proverbs 21:20 – The wise store up choice food and olive oil, but fools gulp theirs down.  Proverbs 11:26 – People curse the one who hoards grain, but they pray God’s blessing on the one who sells in time of need.  Notice hoarding is different from storing, the difference is motive.  Hoarding is storing with self-centered purpose.  Here is God's instruction to you.  Isaiah 41:10 - Fear not for I am with you, be not dismayed for I am your God, I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.  Psalms 91:1 – Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.  I will say of the LORD, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust.  Surely He will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease.  He will cover you with his feathers and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.  A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you…  Psalms 91:9 – If you say, “the LORD is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent.  For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.  So if you find yourself in unprecedented times.  What should you do?  #1 - Know who is on His throne.  #2  Ask God to reveal what prudent is – not panic  #3 Live with the Most High – PiVAT and PRISM are more important now.  It’s how you live with the most High - His thoughts, His plans.  Are you more concerned with His plans and His Presence? or your survival strategy?  What is your refuge - that which consumes you - what you turn to first.  Don’t let your natural mind be consumed with survival – rather than consumed with His presence.   #4  What do you say? And what do you do?  PiVAT and PRISM – His plans for you and His thoughts for you.  Don’t neglect them now, increase them.  There’s a difference between panic and presence.  Between survival mode, and thrive-al mode.  Even in the desert, you can be refreshed.  Even in uncertainty – you can be certain.  He sits on the throne.  Do PRISM – He will guard your mind – speak it out loud.  Do PiVAT – let Him lead you in his plan, not yours.  And He will be your refuge and strength – and an ever present help in every storm.  He has victory for you!  You live with the Most High.

Love you all,
dad
