Love you all, praying for you.
Helping Gpa this morning. Lunch with Taylor, documentation this afternoon. God stirring me this morning…
Be very careful then, how you live, not as unwise, but as wise. Redeeming the time because the days are evil. - Ephesians 5:15-16
So there are two ways to live. Wise and unwise.
What is the difference?
Time. Who owns the time?
Redeem. Exagorazo (Ex ag or ad so) to buy up, ransom. Rescue from loss.
Redeem: to purchase back, regain possession of a thing. To liberate or rescue from bondage or captivity.
The devil wants to put you in bondage. You will serve somebody. Either God owns your time, or the devil has stolen your time – to squander the opportunities God wants you to make the most of.
Praying that PiVAT before dinner will become a habit like brushing your teeth. You wouldn’t leave the house without doing it. But also, throughout the day.
What was important to Daniel – he did three times a day.
What was important to David – he did three times a day. (and seven times a day)
Psalms 55:16-18 But I call to God, and the Lord saves me. Evening, morning, and noon I cry out in distress and he hears my voice. He ransoms me unharmed from the battle waged against me.
Morning, noon, and night is a secret to forging habit. If you are struggling with consistency, establish your life like Daniel. It’s how you ensure that your time stays redeemed, giving no foothold to the enemy, that God fully owns it and directs you in it. It’s how you redeem the time.
Praying that you will live in PiVAT three times a day. To know the plans God has for you and fully walk in them. To be faithful in this hour.
So you don’t miss what your Heavenly Father has for you, Not even a single blessing left on the table.
Love you all,
