Love you all, praying for you.
I just love God’s Word. It’s truth and life! It is so practical – it teaches you how to succeed. It reminds you to be consistent in those things which bring success. And how to do them. There’s a powerful verse that everyone knows, but it’s good to keep in mind. Proverbs 18:21 – The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit. Growing up I always thought this was a warning verse. It’s not – It’s an opportunity verse. It’s not even a 50/50 verse. It’s an instruction verse with a reality check. The tongue has the power of life! Invest it! If you get a brand new car – you will love it every day! Going to work, to church, to the grocery, to the movies, taking your wife out for dinner… but you could also drive off a cliff if you take a curve too fast driving through the mountains. That’s not a 50/50 thing – a new car is a complete blessing thing, but it’s a good reminder for mountain curves. The power of the tongue is for life! Every time you get in that car – you are thankful. It takes you everywhere, you can take people with you. It’s just a blessing. That’s what God gave you a tongue for – to bless – to take people with you. He gave you power in your tongue for today – if you will invest it. It’s designed to produce life – continually! Do that! just remember – don’t let it bring death. Every Word that comes out – let it be life. God’s Word – is life! If His Word is on your tongue – It will produce life always. PRISM gets it there. Your tongue is like a bank account. You are either making deposits or withdrawals. That’s why some people are bankrupt, and some people are millionaires - of the tongue… Their life is just richer. It’s because of the deposits they make. Praying that you will ask God how He wants you to invest your tongue in life today! That you will love speaking life – like you love that new car. Praying that your PRISM time today is your priority – so you tongue will always be full of life and the blessing it brings... that return on investment that God promises. Love you all, dad
