Love you all, praying for you,
One thing that I can’t get my mind and heart around... How God can keep revealing things to us... truth, and light, and success, and hope – from His Word. Things we’ve read He lets us see in a completely new light. The Holy Spirit of God gives us understanding to see things we’ve never seen before. It's how He grows success in us! That’s why I can’t stop doing PRISM! - and if I ever do – I can tell the difference immediately, within a day. Praying that you will do those five things in God’s Word every day. So He can bring light to your understanding, and success to your life. Psalms 119:80 - May my heart be blameless toward your decrees, that I may not be put to shame. Another version says, Let my heart be sound in your statutes that I be not ashamed. Praise God for the S.O.A.P. part of PRISM – your time with God in His Word every day… When we ask the Holy Spirit to give us understanding – He will do it every time. First, your heart – leb <labe> the center of your inmost being – feeling, will, intellect – the you inside – not the physical body you happen to live in right now for the 70 or so years of your life on earth. May my heart be blameless. God said out of the overflow of your heart – your mouth speaks - what’s in it comes out. But how does it get in there? Whether good or bad, true or false. Your heart is filled with you mouth. Faith like belief comes from words. What is faith? Acting like what God said is true. You might as well... it is... whether we believe it or act like it or not. Like the guy who says – I don’t believe in sunrises… Well it’s a free-country – you can believe what you want – but that Sun is rising every morning – completely separate from what you believe or not. And the truth is - it's not that you don't believe - you believe something else - you have faith in something else, you told yourself something else - what some said - opposite- of what God says. You can put your faith and belief in something untrue, just as you can have faith and believe what is true. God said faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God! So your heart (what you believe inside – what you put your faith in) comes by hearing something. What you say - you believe. What you mentally agree with and attest to with your mouth - becomes what your heart is filled with. Either truth, or not. No such thing as your truth or my truth – only God’s truth. "No sunrise" isn’t that guy’s truth – it’s just his ignorance – or maybe his unwillingness to believe. David said, may my heart be blameless toward your decrees, sound in your statutes. I always thought that meant if I fill heart with His Word – it increases the chance of me obeying it, which could then help me be blameless. And that is true, but God showed me there’s a little more to it! How? I just asked Him. And He showed me. So can you, and He'll show you! He said he doesn’t play favorites, He just favors those who ask Him, and believe. That word sound "may my heart be sound" is taymiym <taw-meem’> means entire, complete, integrity, full, sincerely, without spot or blemish, undefiled, whole. Like granite - the same through and through, not formica – just pretty on the outside – particle board within… David was saying let my heart be full and entire, like granite - in your statutes. That word means not just his words… choq <khoke> statutes - means His enactments, His decisions or appointments of time, space, quantity, labor or usage, appointed times and tasks... Gods' statues are not just his words, they are His assignments and appointments for you! Not just what you hear, but what you do! David was saying - let my heart be entirely fully committed to follow your appointments for me today! His is talking about PiVAT – time obedience, not just PRISM – thought transformation – through God'ss Word. That I might not be ashamed. This verse is a PiVAT verse even more than a PRISM verse! It means David was not only committed to reading God’s Word, and speaking it into His heart, but He was committed to entirely loving and doing what God told him to do – at the time that God assigned him, the appointment! That’s how you walk blameless so you’re not ashamed. Ashamed - to be disappointed, delayed, suffer confusion, or become dry. Wow. If we don't entirely love fulfilling His assignments and appointments for us - no wonder we can get delayed, disappointed, confused, or become dry. It's happened to me! Praying that today your heart will be entirely complete in not only Praising, Reading and Speaking your PRISM time in His Word, but also that you would walk in the PiVAT God gave you before dinner last night… Every appointment He has for you today in His perfect time. That’s how you walk in the good that He has for you in the wisdom that He gives – so His joy can come with it! There’s no life like that life!! Praying that you will do everything God has for you today – with a complete heart. So you can see what God will do in your life – when you are entirely complete, and full of Him! Love you all, dad
