Love you all, praying for you.
I'm just so thankful for PRISM - those five things you can do in God's Word every day. It just puts me in position to hear what God wants to tell me - so He can give me understanding. Psalms 114:1-2 When Israel came out of Eqypt the house of Jacob from a people of a foreign tongue; Judah became God’s sanctuary, Israel his dominion. Wow. I’m amazed at how much depth is in just one or two verses. God’s truth is absolute and infinite. It’s the bread of life! So God - what do you want to show me that I've never seen before - (or that I need to be reminded of?) To come out of bondage – it's a change of masters. The instructions of your former master – who you used to be a slave to… become as a foreign tongue to you. You have a new master giving instructions. There is a dominion shift to be God’s people – Israel – where He rules as God – you hear and follow a new voice. You become His dominion, you leave the dominion of your former master behind. You are no longer a slave to fleshly desires; the glory, the gold, and the girls.. Selfish ambition (a desire for fame and recognition), the love of money (and the things and status it buys), and the lust of the eyes and the lust of the flesh (that had a ring through your nose - like a mere animal). Some want to go back. Some want to come out of Egypt, but keep one foot in. You’re not free unless you are free indeed. When you come out of Egypt, when God delivers you – your value system is replaced. Humility and servanthood replaces selfish ambition. The goal becomes the low place, not the high place. Giving replaces greed, the joy of blessing others, far surpasses the evaporating excitement of getting something for yourself. Ever wanted something your whole life – only to find out within weeks – sometimes minutes later… you found that it wasn’t what you thought it would be - it wasn’t enough... When you come out of Eqypt, purity replaces lust, contentment replaces covetousness. You keep your eyes straight ahead, you’re content with what God gives you, you are fully occupied with what He has for you - which reveals his glory - not the mirage of what you thought you wanted to achieve to get glory for yourself. Your heart grows to love His presence more than His gifts. God leads us out of bondage so we can be His sanctuary – the hearts of man, not temples made with human hands. He brings us out so we can be His dominion - His servants, His subjects where He rules as God, so He can involve us in demonstrating his great love to the world. So how do we become His sanctuary? Praise. How do we become His dominion? Obey. He gives the secret in the verse. Judah – literally means praise – a throwing out the hands. Get good at it; double it, triple it, make it your life’s priority, your habit every day and every hour; your first reaction, your greatest desire. When you praise – He has something to inhabit… the praises of His people! Your Daily Call is a built-in Judah and Israel producer. You can’t obey each day and give your testimony and rejoice with them over theirs – without your praise growing! That means you become the Judah – that becomes His sanctuary, and you become the Israel that becomes His dominion. PIVAT before dinner, and PRISM throughout the day – your time belongs to Him, your mind belongs to Him, and 4C’s – your money belongs to him. You now know where it is – so you can ask Him what He wants you to do with it. And He knows that crazy math – in His economy two plus two equals twenty-two. Because financial obedience always multiples true riches to you. (Luke 16:10-11). Every time you obey in these three areas - which is your life – God always moves – and praise just happens! Praying that your Praise will make you His Sanctuary, and your Obedience will make you His dominion. Love you all, dad
