Declare

Love you all, praying for you.

I just love God’s Word.  It tells of God’s Power.  And it tells of powerful things we can do, for our increase.  Psalms 89:2 – I will declare that your love stands firm forever, that you established your faithfulness in heaven itself.  Why did David declare that God’s love stands firm forever?  It has no impact on God’s love…  David’s declaration didn’t ensure it or add to it, or have any effect on preventing it from waning.  It stands firm forever – from before David was born – throughout eternity.  Unchanging, and unchangeable.  So why declare, “Your love stands firm forever! Why remind yourself, and commit yourself to declare, “Your love stands firm forever." Your love for me stands firm forever, your love for your people, stands firm forever.  Those who call on Your Name, who have put their faith in your Son Jesus as their Savior, stands firm forever.  Your love for the lost and the sinner stands firm forever – You give them every possible opportunity to repent and turn to You.  And He remembers their sins no more.  So why declare? Your love stands firm forever!” It’s not for Him, it's for you!  It is part of worship… any time you declare God’s truth, God’s character, God’s promise, and His track record, it’s part of worship…  But your declaration doesn’t maintain it or sustain it.  It stands firm forever.  Your declaration, your proclamation, your statement of complete assurance, aligns your faith by your own words – with who God is and what He promised.  It’s that kind of faith that pleases God, for without faith it is impossible to please him.  Your declaration sets your faith, and sets your actions.  So you act like you believe, before you even see.  You see it through faith!  It becomes sight to you.  Praying that today you will declare what God declares, that you will declare who God is, and what He promised.  That you will declare what you will do.  Psalms 71:14 - As for me, I will always have hope, I will praise you more and more.  My mouth will tell of your righteousness and your salvation all day long, though I know not its measure.  I will obey your word (Psalms 119:17)  I will obey your instructions and put them into practice (Psalms 119:34)  O Lord, you are my portion, I will obey your word!  (Psalm 119:57)  Your love (for me) stands firm forever!  Praying that you will declare in worship and faith, so your word reveals the power of His Word! How does your word reveal the power of His Word?  Because if you declare it, you will believe it, and if you believe it, you will do it, and if you do it He will do what He promised!  Praying that you will declare!  His love (for you) stands firm forever!

Love you all,
dad
