Greatest Threat

Love you all, praying for you,

I just love God’s Word.  It tells you what is, not just what seems.  Have you ever thought of your greatest threat?  What is the greatest threat facing you right now, your life, your well being?  Is it a diagnosis? A doctor’s report? or an injury?  Is it a setback, or a financial loss, or a job loss?  Is it a lack of income, ridiculous gas and food prices, inflation, the economy, the crashing stock market?  A lost opportunity?  What is the greatest threat you face?  Actually, your greatest threat is none of the above…  the greatest threat to your well being – is your mouth.  See the Daily Huddle What Are You Building, but also, review the PRISM Topic – Do Not Say.  God tells us specifically some things we should not say.  He says it plainly – don’t say that.  Why were the old days better than these – it is not from wisdom that you ask this.  Don’t say it.  I’ll pay you back for the wrong you did to me… Don’t say it.  Boasting and trash talk.  Don’t say it.  Come back tomorrow and I’ll pay what I owe you… (when you have it with you).  Do not say it.  Venting everything on your mind.  Do not say it.  The wise hold their tongue.  Praying that you will know what God says – Do Not Say.  And never say it.  Words hold power, they are creative and destructive they could create a blessing, or create destruction.  What you say is what you get – so be sure to know what God says – not to say.  PRISM Topic – Do Not Say.   Praying that you will use your words to build.  That your words would always align with God’s Word!  So His promises become your reality.

Love you all,
dad

    ABOUT THIS BLOG
For years, we used  5-minute "Daily Huddles" to coordinate schedules, car needs, and train our kids in wisdom, life and relationships. As they grew, married and moved out, we started to blog. We pray this is a daily encouragement for you!
