What is a PiVAT JOURNAL? It's a conversation log. Every conversation you have with God, yourself, or others - write it down.
Jeremiah 30:2 - This is what the LORD, the God of Israel says, "Write in a book all the words I have spoken to you."
Your PiVAT Journal - is this book. It's where you write down what God tells you.
a PiVAT JOURNAL contains three pages - a PiVAT Page - to get God's plans for your day, a PRISM Page - to write down those five things you can do every day in God's Word, and a CONVERSATIONS Page - Every conversation you have - with God, yourself, or others - write it down.
Typically, a journal is where you write down your thoughts and ideas. Your PIVAT Journal is where you write down God's thoughts and ideas for you - as well as His instructions for you. It's where you distinguish between your ideas and His. It's where you capture life - His commands and revelation - so you fulfill His purpose for you!

PiVAT - Do PiVAT before dinner every day. Get God's plans for you - for tomorrow. *For your PiVAT Page - Just draw horizontal lines on the (1st & 18th line of your notebook) and draw two vertical lines a third of the way through - to make three columns. The first column is for the PiVAT Questions for today. The middle column is for today's timeslots (6am-10pm) and the right column is for God's To Do List for you today - not yours (that's PiVAT Maybe).
The second kind of page you will use in your PiVAT Journal is a PRISM Page. PRISM - 5 things you can do in God’s Word every day
The third kind of page you will use in your PiVAT Journal is a Conversations Page. CONVERSATIONS - Every conversation that you have with God, yourself, or others - write it down.
That's it - just three kinds of pages that you write in your PiVAT Journal each day. It's how you write down what God told you, and what God did when you obeyed. So a generation not yet created may praise the LORD!
Download the 3-Day-Challenge Packet or the 7-Day PiVAT Journal and you will have a "3 day PiVAT Journal" for PiVAT, PRISM, and Conversations. After that you can use any notebook for your PiVAT Journal and just draw the lines and three columns for PiVAT. PRISM and Conversations pages are just text.
So What is a Conversations Page for your PiVAT Journal?
A Conversations Page - is one of three pages in your PiVAT Journal (PiVAT, PRISM, Conversations) Learn to be like Samuel He did not let one Word that God spoke to him fall to the ground. (I Sam 3:19)
PiVAT - captures God's Plan for you for today - He has good for you! (Do PIVAT before dinner for tomorrow)
PRISM - captures what God speaks to you each day through His Word (Come back to it throughout the day)
Conversations - captures what God speaks to you each day through His Holy SPirit, or through others.
Of the three daily pages in your PiVAT Journal - PiVAT usually goes first because you did PiVAT before dinner yesterday - to get God's plan for you for today.
A Conversations Page is often next, because God will frequently give you counsel in the night season for you to write down when He speaks. Keep your PiVAT Journal by your bed - so you can write down the counsel God gives you in the night season. If you wait until morning to write it down you might forget. And if He woke you up, it's important.
The third page is PRISM - five things you can do in God's Word throughout the day. It's really a Conversation Page with God. And as for conversations with others, just add another Conversations page as more conversations occur. You don't need a new page for each one, just draw a line and begin the next one with date and time

A Norcom 9x7 Composition Notebook ($1 at Walmart) will last you a month for PiVAT, PRISM, and Conversations pages. You can draw three columns for PiVAT. PRISM and Conversations Pages are just text.

What Could Your Conversations Page Contain?
Conversation Records: Every conversation you have with any person today; write down things discussed, things important to them, things you learned, prayer needs - so you can pray for them. They are precious to God! It might be a phone conversation, a meeting at a coffee shop, or a 1:1 with your boss or conference call with a group of people. Write down what people say - it's important to them, and God can teach you things through others. He will give you discernment between His wisdom and the wisdom of the world.
Revelation: God will speak to you in the night season, He will wake you up with a spiritual truth on your heart, new ideas, or something He wants you to do.
Write them in a Conversations Page in your PiVAT Journal, so you don't forget what He says. He may have you put them directly on your PIVAT for today (His To Do List for you today), or He may have you move them to this month's ongoing PiVAT Maybe To Do List - for God to confirm, delay or delete.
Ideas Page: Sometimes you will get on a brain storm - not necessarily the Holy Spirit revealing things, but things cluttering your mind. Write them down in your PiVAT Journal on a Conversations Page, so you can ask God - to see what is from Him, and what is not.
Quotes Page: If you hear someone say something on the radio, podcast or television, write it down. People being interviewed are usually successful; and they cannot help but give away some of their secrets. If nothing else, their words reveal how they think. Whether worldly wisdom, or God's truth, writing down the important things they say gives you an opportunity to learn from them, and ask God to reveal truth versus deception.
Pastor's Sermons: Every time you go to church to hear someone speak, bring your PiVAT Journal with you, take notes. If nothing else, capture it in your iphone to transfer later to your PiVAT Journal. God often confirms through others, things He told you to do in your PiVAT and PRISM times with Him.
Project Plans: You might have something you need to do, or plan out. Take a Conversations Page to begin the planning process. Your PiVAT Index helps you easily come back and finish it at a later time, so you don't think of things during the day, but them forget about them because you didn't write them down at the time.
Daily Call - A 15 min call before work sharing PiVAT and PRISM with a friend and praying for each other. 5 min you share, 5 min they share, 5 min pray for each other. Use a Conversations Page in your PiVAT Journal to write down your Daily Call. Write their PiVAT for today and their testimony from yesterday of what God did and what He revealed to them during their PRISM time in His Word. You can learn from it too! It's like getting a bonus check every day! And write down the prayers you prayed for each other as the Holy Spirit leads you. God will say things through your prayer that will surprise you. The Holy Spirit will pray through you - God's specific words for them. Write it down. So you can remember what God said, and continue to pray for each other throughout the day as the Holy Spirit prompts you.
Take the 3-Day-Challenge - make a habit of walking daily with someone. It will absolutely change your life.

2. Your PiVAT Journal helps you keep God’s Word to you – from falling to the ground.
I Samuel 3:19 – “The LORD was with Samuel as he grew up, and he let none of his words fall to the ground.” Samuel valued God's Word so highly that he let not one word fall to the ground. And as a result, God continued to reveal himself to Samuel through his Word.
When God speaks to you - value it highly, write it down so you can remember it, and come back to it. (Your PiVAT Index in your Insert #2 - Monthly Insert for your PiVAT Journal will help you do this).

4. Your PiVAT Journal helps fix His Word to you - in your heart and mind.
Deuteronomy 11:18-21 - “Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Write them on the door frames of your houses and on your gates, so that your days and the days of your children may be many in the land that God swore to give your forefathers, as many as the days that the heavens are above the earth.” Your Insert #2 – Monthly Insert for your PiVAT Journal helps you Index what God told you through PiVAT, PRISM and Conversations; so it will be easy to remember it, review it, rehearse it, talk about it, and Do It!

James 1:23-25 - Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it - he will be blessed in what he does. Your PiVAT Index lets you come back to these quickly.
6. Your PiVAT Journal gives you a wonderful tool to praise or pray through!
Remembering what God said and did - builds your faith! Psalms 9:1 - I will praise you, O LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonders.
Psalms 9:10 - Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you.
The Name of the LORD - goes beyond the names like Jehovah or Yaweh - For what Hebrew or English Word could capture, describe or contain Him? The Hebrew word ‘shem’ (Name) of the LORD that is to be praised - means not just what He is called, it also includes ALL of His power, authority, reputation, and renown. It includes not only the sum of who He is; His powerful attributes, but also ALL THAT He has done and ALL THAT He will still do.
In other words: His full track record, His renown (past, present and future) which is continuing in this day! So His NAME includes: not just speaking the worlds into order, not just parting the Red Sea, not just healing the sick and raising the dead - it also includes His NAMES, His renown, His track record of faithfulness and miracles in YOUR life. Not just Abraham Isaac & Jacob, but this generation, this nation, what He is doing in you - your life, your situation!
Your PiVAT Journal captures this as a permanent record, easily and quickly reviewed and remembered. His Name will increase! You will see it. You will remember it by keeping it always before you in your PiVAT Journal - so you will continue to stand in Awe of His Great Name.
7. Your PiVAT Journal helps you share your testimony and encourage others through what God has revealed to you, and what God has done in your life.
