Love you all, praying for you,
I just love God’s Word. It gives you the secrets of life. Here’s one. Psalm 116:10 – I believed; therefore I said, “I am greatly afflicted.” And in my dismay I said, “All men are liars.” What you say you’ll believe, and what you believe you will say. Be careful what you say, be careful what you believe. I believed therefore I said, I am greatly afflicted. First, you’re not greatly afflicted, it’s all relative. If you say what’s not true, you’ll believe it. If you say you’re greatly afflicted it becomes true for you, no matter if it’s true or not, its true for you. And if you believe you’re afflicted you will soon be in dismay. First, you’re not afflicted. Compared to what some people are going through, you are on vacation compared to the struggles they are facing! You’re not afflicted, why say that? Why become dismayed for nothing? And even if you were. You will see the faithfulness of God! Because He is faithful in affliction. David said, “In your faithfulness you have afflicted me.” First, you’re not afflicted, it’s called ‘life.’ And He is the giver of life, He is the overcomer so you can overcome in life. And even if He allows or even sends affliction some day, it’s so His faithfulness can be revealed. So you know the God who is faithful in affliction. And this too shall pass, you’ll come out with a victory, with a testimony, with a story to tell and another reason to believe the One True and Faithful God. Who loves you and gave His life for you. Affliction is the time to praise! For His goodness! not say you’re in affliction. Or you will be dismayed. Why? So all men are liars, of course they are. How is that new? And what does that matter? It doesn’t. God is truth, all men are liars, (so what!) God is in control of all men. Even the kings heart is in the hand of the LORD, He directs it like a watercourse wherever he chooses. God is faithful in affliction, and He is merciful and loving all day long. He’s given you everything you need for Godliness. He has given you faith to overcome, grace to overcome, The Holy Spirit to lead you into all truth, and Jesus to go through every affliction with you. He speaks to the storm, calms the waves, brings you through, makes you stronger. Your life is a testimony of His Great Faithfulness. Better to say “My God is faithful!” than ‘I’m afflicted.’ Be in Deliverance, not dismay – watch what you say. God is my deliverer, my strong tower, my fortress and my refuge, I will not be afraid, and I will not be dismayed, I will say the OF The LORD, “He is my refuge and strength an ever present help in trouble.” Say the truth. God is able to deliver, and He wants to! He will deliver me again, just like He’s always done. I will count this trial a joy, this situation a blessing. He is showing himself strong, proving himself faithful, again and again. He is the One who is Supreme in Authority over all, and He’s the bossa me. So His goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever! Say Deliverance, not dismay. Don’t say you’re afflicted, Say God is faithful. Don’t say all men are liars, say “The God of truth is leading me in all truth by His Holy Spirit.” And every affliction will start and end in praise. Your tongue determines your triumph, your voice determines your victory, your mouth makes up your mind, and your lips determine your life. Praying that you’ll review the PRISM Topics, Speak Life, and Say – so you will use your tongue for good. And see the Faithfulness of God. Love you all, dad
