Love you all, praying for you,
I just love God’s Word. It tells you who God is, what God did, how much He loves you, and what God gives. He is the God of truth, He gives clarity, wisdom, understanding, soundness of mind… safe, sane, (not disordered or confused), entire, whole, healthy, unbroken, not shaky, overcoming. Able to think, process and reason accurately and clearly, not susceptible to confusion or delusion, self-controlled, clear-minded, stable, understanding and comprehending, readily perceiving. That’s what God has for you! 2 Timothy 1:7 – For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but (a Spirit of) power, love and a sound mind. 2 Corinthians 2:16 – For who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. Philippians 2:5 – Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus: (humility) though he was God, he did not think of equality with God something to cling to, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in human likeness. James 1:21 – Therefore put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and humbly receive the word planted in you which will save you. (His Word is what saves and strengthens your mind, if you are humble and disciplined enough to fill your mind with it. Ephesians 4:29 – Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. (Starting with you). I Peter 1:13 – Therefore, prepare your minds for action. Be sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace given you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Philippians 4:6 – Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Romans 12:2 – Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing, and perfect will. Isaiah 26:3 – You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you, because He trusts in you. That word stayed means to lean upon, to be fixed on, to hold fast to. Matthew 22:37 – Jesus said unto him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.” Mark 5:15 – When they came to Jesus, they saw the man who had been possessed by the legion of demons, sitting there, clothed and in his right mind… Luke 12:29 – But as for you, do not seek and strive after what you will eat or what you will drink…do not have an anxious and unsettled mind. Acts 17:11 – Now the Bereans were more noble than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with readiness of mind, and searched the Scriptures daily, to find out whether these things were true. Ephesians 4:17 – So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their minds… Eph 4:22-24 – You should put aside your old way of life with all its bad habits, and instead, let the Holy Spirit renew your mind (the attitude and thoughts of your mind). Put on your new nature, created to be like God, truly righteous and holy. Philippians 1:27 – Only let your conversation be worthy of the gospel of Christ… What comes out of your mouth affects your mind. What your mouth puts in to it – affects your mind. God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of love, and a sound mind. You keep a sound mind, by filling it with God’s Word, by letting the Holy Spirit – renew it. You put away your old way of thinking and talking, and only speak those words of life – the mind of Christ. Praying that you will soak in the Word – that will establish your mind. That you will be sound of spirit, mind and body. So you will see and perceive clearly, act wisely, and grow strong in your faith – fully prepared and ready for every good work that God leads you in.
