To Say Or Not To Say

Love you all, praying for you,

I just love God’s Word.  It always gives it to you straight.  What to say is important.  Praise God, He’ll help you if you ask Him.  He’ll give you the words you need, at just the right time.  That’s what His Holy Spirit does.  He promised.   And perhaps as important as what to say, is what not to say – and when not to say… anything.  Praying that you will review the PRISM Topics – Shut Up, Listen, Say, and Speak Life.  Sometimes you just need to shut up a little bit.  Even King Julian knows that…  God says some crazy things about not talking.  Have you ever noticed, it’s really hard not to do something?  Because if you’re trying to ‘not do’ something, you’re still focused on it, and it might still come out.  Better to focus on something else, what you should do, than what you’re trying not to do.  Don’t worry about shutting up.  Know God’s Word, and just focus on listening.  If you’re focused on listening intently, seeking to understand, your focus will consume you with the thoughts and feelings of the other person.  You’ll shut up.  A man of knowledge uses words with restraint… When words are many sin is not absent, but he who holds his tongue is wise.  Praying that you’ll focus on listening today, so you don’t talk too much.
