Love you all, praying for you.
I just love God’s Word. It’s not boring, it gives plenty of reminders, but it keeps you focused on the basics. Success is in the “every day,” not the once in a lifetime. Unless you have the every days, you don’t get the mountain peaks. God gives us the what and the why. If we will just take heed, and respond with quick obedience, He can bring us to the next thing He has for us. So thankful for PRISM – it keeps me reminded, hearing, believing, and doing. Psalms 86:12 – I will praise you, O LORD my God with all my heart; I will glorify your Name forever. For great is your love toward me; you have delivered me from the depths of the grave. During my PRISM time, I almost missed this. Sometimes when it seems familiar, like you heard it already, we tend to move on. But if you move on too soon, you might miss what God has for you. I will – David as usual committing himself with his own mouth. Praise You! The verb and the object of the verb. It not only tells you what, and who, but also how and why. Praise – it’s the least He deserves. I do it, He gets it. God the LORD is the object of praise. Praise doesn’t just happen, you have to do it. Take the time and the energy. Praise is far more for you than for Him. He has the twenty-four elders and the creatures around the throne in heaven praising him constantly, and if I don’t the rocks and trees will cry out. He’s not lacking praise, but I need to Praise Him, so He can come and live in it – it’s part of the closeness that God desires with us. I will praise you with all my heart! Not just habit or motions, but full investment, with everything you’ve got! Like David danced before the LORD. I will glorify your Name forever. I will dedicate my life to make your name bigger! To increase your reputation, and to add to your renown, to lift up the perception that others have of you, making you bigger in their eyes. I will tell others of what you have done, and what you have done for me! In every conversation – I will look to credit you for something, not just in my life, but in theirs. The best thing you can do for others, is help them discover their testimony – what God has done for them! So why do this? Why praise? Not because God is needy, but because His love toward me is great. Immeasurable! Without end. That’s why I have to praise Him, with all my heart! His love for me is great – He loved me first. He chose me when He didn’t have to. You love me and you deliver me – that’s why I praise you with all my heart. You delivered me from the depths of the grave, from utter despair! And you saved and preserved my physical life, or it would have been over. Praying that you will Praise – Because He loves you that much! That you will praise because He has delivered you from every attack that the enemy has tried to destroy you with! Praying that you would Praise Him with all of your heart. It’s for you! Not for Him. You need it more than He does. Your Praise brings close relationship with God. Praying that you will decide and commit with your mouth to get better at Praise. He inhabits it, fills it, lives in it, directs it, and brings victory through it, and because of it, that without it would not happen. Praying that you will praise, that you will know why, that you will never tire of it, that you will get better at it, that you will do it with all your heart. Love you all, dad
