Love you all, praying for you.
Praying that you’ll review yesterday’s Daily Huddle (1-5). Eleven Things That Wise People Do #6 The Wise Give Luke 12:42 – The Lord answered, “Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master puts in charge of his servants to give them their portion of food at the proper time? It will be good for that servant whom the master finds doing so when he returns. Matthew 10:8 – Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. (ESV – you have received without paying, give without pay). Luke 6:28 – Give and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Proverbs 11:24 – One person gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds what is right, only to become poor. A generous person will prosper; and those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed. Proverbs 28:27 – Those who give to the poor will lack nothing, but those who close their eyes to them will be cursed. Proverbs 25:21 – If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink. In doing so, you will heap burning coals on his head, and the LORD will reward you. Proverbs 15:7 – The lips of the wise give good advice; the heart of a fool has none to give. Proverbs 19:17 – Whoever gives to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward them for what they have done. Proverbs 10:16 – The earnings of the godly enhance their lives, but evil people squander their money on sin. Proverbs 22:26 – Do not be one who shakes hands in pledge or puts up security for debts. (Debt is the exact opposite of saving – it’s saving for someone else – fulfilling scripture) Proverbs 13:22 – A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children: but the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous. Proverbs 30:24,25 – “Four things on earth are small, yet they are extremely wise. Ants are creatures of little strength, yet they store up their food in the summer. I Corinthians 16:2 – Now about the collection for God’s people in Jerusalem: Do what I told the Galatian churches to do. On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with your income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made. Proverbs 27:12 – The wise man sees danger and takes refuge; but the foolish keep going and suffer for it. (A wise man foresees evil and hides himself, the simple proceed and suffer loss). Ecclesiastes 7:8 – Better is the end of a thing than its beginning, and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit. 2 Timothy 2:24 – And the servant of the Lord must not be quarrelsome, but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, and be patient when wronged. Proverbs 11:14 – Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in a multitude of counselors there is safety. Psalms 1:1 – Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful, but his delight is in the law of the LORD and on his law he meditates day and night. Psalms 16:7 – I will bless the LORD who has given me counsel, even at night my heart instructs me. Proverbs 1:5 – Let the wise listen and gain instruction, and the discerning acquire wise counsel. Proverbs 12:5 – The thoughts of the righteous are just; but the counsel of the wicked is deceitful. To Salvation, and Obedience – So they believe in Jesus, are filled with the Holy Spirit, so they can obey like Jesus did and walk in the good that God has prepared for them. I Corinthians 9:19 – Though I am free and belong to no one, I have made myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. To the Jews I become like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law. To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (thought I am not free from God’s law but am under Christ’s law), so as to win those not having the law. To the weak I became weak to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some.
