Love you all, praying for you,
I just love God’s Word. It tells you God loves you and has things that you need. Everything. But of all the things that He has for you – there is one thing you need most – maybe its crucial maybe it’s sequential, but of all the things - there is a ‘most.’ What do you need most from God today? Why is that such an important question? Why is that the best question ever? First, God said, He knows what you need before you ask. (Matthew 6:8) So… If you don’t know what you need most from God today? 1) You won’t ask God for it because you don’t know, 2) you’ll ask Him for something else, that’s not as good… 3) You’ll ask him for the wrong thing, that’s not good at all, or 4) you won’t ask him for anything. You’ll either miss out, you’ll have not because you ask not, or you’ll ask and not receive because you ask to spend it on your own pleasures. That doesn’t just mean greed… it means you ask for what you want - that you think is good. We ask according to our understanding for our pleasures. God wants for us according to His understanding for our purpose. That’s the greatest pleasure in the end – the purpose of God for your life. God knows what you need most, you don’t. You won’t know unless you ask Him. If you do, He’ll tell you. You won’t get it if you don’t know and don’t ask. And if you ask amiss, you won’t get that either, because He knows that’s not the best for you. Or worse yet, he will finally relent, and you will get it, but you’ll choke on it. If you’re not satisfied and faithful with manna, you won’t be satisfied with roast duck or filet. And sometimes a wasting disease comes with it. So when it comes to what you need most from God today… ask to know, and then ask to receive. If you don’t receive what you need most, you won’t be able to do what He wants you to do today, (if what you need most relates to, and enables you to do what He’s calling you to do today.) Or, if you don’t know what it is that you need most, and therefore don’t ask for it - you don’t receive what you need most from God today… that might not be related to what He wants you to do today, maybe it’s what you need most from Him – so you can become. (a man of faith, a man of prayer, a man of diligence, a man of hope, a man of trust, a man of wisdom, a man of discernment, a man of Issachar, a man after God’s own heart) (or a woman of faith, a woman of prayer… Whatever you need most from God today - you either need most something that enables you to do what God wants you to do today. Or something that enables you to become what God wants you to become today. If you don’t walk in His Plan for your day, how will you walk in His plan for your life? And if you don’t fulfill your purpose today, how will God ever fulfill the purpose for your life. And if you don’t become what He wants you to become today, how will you become what He wants you to become in your life. You haven’t even become today’s new you yet… It really starts with today, today is important. Like a 24 hour trip. You can do it in 3 days. But if you don’t drive eight hours the first two days, it’s day three, and you have to drive 24 hours in one day. Not impossible to do, but unlikely. And if it’s a 32 hour trip… and you wait three days before driving, you cannot possibly do it on the fourth day, not enough hours in the day. What do you need most from God today? If you only knew the GOOD that He has for you, you would want to know His answer to this best question ever. And if you only new that God has good for you, and what you need most – is the key to getting to that good that He has for you, you’d never eat dinner again, without PiVAT before dinner – asking Him what you need most for tomorrow, what He wants you to do and when, and remembering the testimony of what He did for you today, and revealed to you today – so you overcome by your testimony, and get the joy that comes with it. And if you walk with someone daily – you’ll both overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. What you need most from God, will become your daily diet. And what you become will be the greatest adventure you could ever have! Love you all, dad
