Red Pill

I just love God’s Word.  It tells you things that are bad, things that are good, and things that are not always good, it depends on how you use them.  The problem with a democratic republic - you are free to sin.  As long as you don’t physically harm someone, as long as its consensual, you are free to sin, just not free from sin.  That’s why a democratic republic can never save you.  You need a red pill – the true red pill, the original red pill.  The blood of Jesus to cover your sin, and set you free from the power and delusion of sin in your life.  It’s not fun, just for a while.  It’s not freedom, it’s really bondage.  You’re upside down and don’t know it, you think it’s you but it’s not – you’re being punked by the devil.  That’s not original, that’s not ‘doing your own thing’ you’re doing the devil's thing, he’s been scamming and punking people for generations before you were even born.  This isn’t new or original, it’s as old as Adam and Eve in the garden.  Sin sucks, it’s not good, it’s not independence, it’s not freedom, it’s bondage.  The wages of sin is death.  Nothing good comes from it, and if you die in your sin, you will be eternally separated from a loving God, and from light itself.   It’s why hell is called outer darkness.  If you remove God, you remove light.  Betrayal is the worst feeling ever.  Someone you thought was for you – was really against you.  Hell is full of the betrayed, (and when you get there, they’ll blame you).  Those who thought they were doing it ‘my way’ – only to find out – the devil was pulling the strings, and they just got punked.  That’s just part of the horror that lasts forever, an eternity without God where every level of evil is unchecked, unstoppable, because there is no righteousness to resist it.  It’s not called hell for nothing, and it never ends.  You need Jesus to save you from that place.  To give you a new heart, and a new mind, and new eyes, so you can see truth.  The scales will fall! You will see truth, no longer deceived.  You will be cleansed from your sin, completely clean, no more under the influence, and the chains that once bound you.  Jesus loves you enough to take your place – to pay for the sin, that you committed, to take the punishment you deserved, so you could go free.  So you could live in heaven with God forever.  You just need to give up your old life, which is getting you nowhere, and take on his new life which can get you everywhere.  To put your trust and faith in Him, and His death in your place, and then trust Him to lead your life, and then do whatever He tells you.  Your life once was the devil’s who hates you.  In Christ, it will become God’s who loves you.  There is nothing you leave behind, that is even worth a second thought!  His life is so much better.  Not easy, but there’s victory.  The devil won’t like it, but you don’t belong to him anymore.  You have a new life, and a new heart, and a new mind, and a new destiny, your eternity is with God in heaven, not in hell with the devil.  What once bound you – has no power over you any longer.  You are free.  He whom the Son sets free is free indeed!  (John 8:36) See the Relationship Topic – Salvation First…  And if you are saved, do you love someone enough to tell them this good news that will change their life and destination forever?
