The God You Have

Love you all, praying for you.
 
I just love God’s Word.  It reminds us of who God is and what He does.  It gives simple truths that we can fully trust in.  It gives simple instructions that we can do right now - that will bring a result.  Psalms 80:1 – Hear us, O Shepherd of Israel, you who lead Joseph like a flock; you who sit enthroned between the cherubim, shine forth before Ephraim, Benjamin and Manasseh, Awaken your might; come and save us.  I just love God’s Word!  It’s more than information – it’s application.  It’s not only truth about who God is and what He will do, it tells us what we should do – if we can just hear, and obey.  What kind of God is this?  He’s a God who hears, He’s a God who leads, He’s the God who is enthroned, He’s the God who saves.  He hears, He leads, He’s enthroned, He saves.  If He hears, you should pray.  If He leads, you should follow.  He doesn’t lead everybody, only his flock, only those who follow him, who know his voice and go where he goes.  That’s why PiVAT is so important – it trains you to hear his voice, and follow His lead.  If He’s enthroned, you should know it.  If He sits on the throne, He’s the final Word, He’s in charge.  No one more powerful than Him.  He’s not only undefeated, He’s undefeat-able.  You can know for sure, your confidence is well placed.  And if He saves – you should believe.  That your Deliverer is coming, you can rejoice now, like you will then.  If He said it – He will do it.  He saves those who call on Him.  It’s not about you, or what you’ve done, It’s about His Son and what He did for you.  He hears, so pray – bring your requests before Him.  He leads – so be sure you get his plans and follow them completely.  He’s enthroned.  You can know for sure… you have nothing to worry about.  He saves – He will save you - you can believe it!  Praying that you will know God today.  The God who hears, and leads, who's enthroned, and who saves - because He loves you..  So you can pray, and obey, and know, and believe.
