Love you all, praying for you,
I just love God’s Word, it gives good advice. Really good. Those who heed it prosper, those who don’t suffer loss, sometimes everything. I was thinking about something that God taught us years ago, prompted by a recent conversation with a trusted friend, who reminded me, and pushed the envelope. What is perhaps the most misunderstood word or concept in this generation? It might be the word, submission. God said we are to submit to Him, His Word, His plan, His way. It’s really the indication of any follower of Christ. If you don’t submit, come under His mission for you, then you’re not a follower of Christ, just a pretender. God said we are to submit to those in authority over us, even whether they are nice or harsh. Here’s a very familiar one, God said, Wives submit to your husbands. And that’s where all ‘you know what’ breaks loose. All kinds of confusion, everybody feelin some kinda way. Most likely because we don’t understand God’s way, only man’s way. Why is that command so familiar? When it’s not even the most important marriage command. Not even the most important submission command that pertains to marriage? Because it’s the one repeated most often. Any man that says you need to submit to him… is an idiot, don’t marry him. He doesn’t know what He’s talking about, and probably doesn’t even know what it really means. Most men who say wives need to submit to their husbands, really mean, “you need to do what I want to do, or what I want you to do.” Neither, was the meaning of that command, nor God’s design for marriage. First things first, who was God talking to? “Wives, submit to your husbands.” He was talking to the wife! He started the sentence with “Wives”- there’s your clue. Husbands, that ain’t your business. You do you. Let God handle her. She doesn’t have to obey God if she doesn’t want to. What will you do? Will you obey? God said, Husbands love your wives. God said lay down your life for your wife, as Jesus laid down his life for you! and God said, “Submit to one another in love.” That means prefer each other above yourself, their feelings, their needs, even their understanding, and counsel, and belief. Submission, is coming under another’s mission (God’s), coming under authority, in humility, coming under, so God can bring you over. This is the greater marriage command, even than wives submit to your husbands. “Submit yourselves one to one another.” This is addressed to the body of Christ, so certainly applies to husband and wife. Most people will be married longer then they are single, if you get married by age fifty. And you probably shouldn’t even count the first twenty years, cause that’s childhood. Submit yourselves to one another, husbands, submit to your wives as well as wives submit to your husbands, in the LORD. What does that mean? ‘in the LORD?’ It means in the will of the LORD. Not submit to what one of you wants to do, or what the other of you wants to do. Then it’s just a fight, or a ledger, “We did it your way last time, we get to do it my way this time.’ That just means you were wrong both times. God’s design for marriage is not what he wants to do, or what she wants to do. What does God want you to do? How does He want you to do it, and how does He want you to treat each other in the doing of it. Submit to God, by submitting to one another, in it. Seek the LORD for it, seek His will together. Submit to one another and in doing so, prefer them over yourself. Ask God, and He will clearly reveal His way to you, and bring unity between both of you. Humble yourself. Don’t fix them, fix you. God can handle them. Submission is powerful. My wife understands submission. And it makes me extremely nervous. “Honey, whatever you decide, I will support you.” But I know she doesn’t agree, and it just made me nervous. So I give her the side eye. What do you mean? “I don’t agree, but whatever you choose, I will support you in it.” “So what is it that you don’t agree with again?” She just told me, but I wasn’t listening, because I couldn’t hear past my own opinion.” So she tells me again, and finally, I listen… “So we should probably wait on that? “Yeah probably.” Submission is powerful. If we’re not in agreement, sometimes it’s because God gave you a wife that sees what you can’t see, whether she can fully explain it to your satisfaction or not. And for wives, the responsibility of being the assistant Holy Spirit for this man, is a big one. The neck turns the head, (that’s not the Bible, that’s just someone’s observation of what influence can do). So what kind of neck will you be? The one God uses, or the one that confuses. Wives if you’re not submitting yourself to God, through your husband, than you’re lobbying for your opinion, that’s not what a mature neck does. If you get caught up in your own opinion, that’s not worth much more than his? Husbands be careful, some wives are unleadable, they do their own thing, their own way. Don’t marry that one, it will be a never ending nightmare. What does God want for both of you in this decision or situation? Build each other up – is a start. Don’t make decisions if you’re not in agreement, don’t be hasty and miss the way, and don’t wait when God’s telling you to move. God’s will always aligns with His Word, and God’s command to get a multitude of counsel can help. Seek it together. But wives, or wives to be… other than God you are the number one counselor of your husband. God said humility and the fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom. You need to get some, so you can give some, your husband is depending on it. Praying that you will submit to God first, those in authority over you, and submit to one another in love, so that together you can understand and submit to His will and His way for you. It is so worth it, there are no words to describe. There is power and beauty in submission. The world doesn’t think so. But what do they know. Choose God’s wisdom over the other kind. The results are polar opposites. Praying that you will learn the beauty of submission. Not one person’s job, everyone’s job. Love you all, dad

Love you all, praying for you,
I just love God's Word. It tells you who’s the greatest. Lately with LeBron passing Kareem Abdul Jabbar’s NBA all-time scoring record. The debate has re-emerged regarding who is the greatest player of all time. Some go by rings, MVPs, Finals MVPs, All Star MVPs, Defensive Players of the year, Most points by average, most points in a career… Everyone has their own criteria. Someone asked the question, Who would be your all time starting five? Mine was easy. Lebron at the one, Jordan at the two, Bird at the three, Tim Duncan at the four, Kareem at the five. But that’s my humble opinion. Every one can score, pass, defend, they all can shoot, they have length, athleticism, unrivaled competitive spirit, championship DNA, all-time greats they would win, I’m pretty sure. Others may have a different opinion – they have every right to be wrong… So you see why these debates will never end. So lets jump to a closed case. When it comes to the greatest of all time. Basketball, Sports, Entertainment, Business, Military, World Leaders do not even enter the equation. Regarding anyone who has lived on the earth. The Greatest Of All Time - Jesus of Nazareth, Son of the Living God. There is no one else even in that conversation. No one else was sinless, died for you, covered the penalty of your sin, rose from the dead, seated on the throne. He is the greatest of all time. And when time ends, He will still be the greatest for eternity without end, sitting on the throne, worshipped forever. What makes Him the greatest? Divine by birth, eye-witness proven by rising from the dead, to life - eternally. No one will ever know who really was the greatest basketball player, Jordan or Lebron, or someone else. But one day everyone will know who the greatest of all time is. When every knee bows, and every tongue confesses, there will be no doubt, and no more ignorance willful or otherwise. Everyone will know. You may never be the greatest basketball player of all time. (You’re at least 38,000 points short as of right now…) But when it comes to greatests… There is an interesting list to consider. That you could be a part of… Some are opinion, several of these God already decided. But you can receive, choose, apply, and implement some of these greatests’ in your own life. So what are the greatests? The Greatest Command. Love the LORD your God with all your heart, mind, and soul. You could do that. The Greatest Commission: Go into all the world and share the good news… teaching them to obey everything Jesus commands them. You could do that! So what other greatests are there? The greatest problem: Sin - it separates people from God. The greatest need? Salvation – so you can be made right with God, forgiven of every sin, so you can live forever with Him, in Heaven. The greatest danger – Ignorance – what you don’t know will destroy you. “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” There’s God’s way and man’s way. It’s good to know the difference. The greatest quality: Humility, the greatest hallmark of Jesus… without it, he would never have come to earth to die in your place, it’s what made him obedient to His Heavenly Father. Humility plus the Fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and God will exalt you. The greatest skill: Anticipation - Those who see danger can take refuge, those who see opportunity can benefit from it, and benefit others. The greatest possession: Diligence - “the precious possession of a man.” The greatest acquisition: Wisdom (God said above all else, get it) The greatest habit: PiVAT – Get God’s plan for you – it’s what Jesus did on the Mount of Olives every day. The greatest preservation: Guard your heart – what you put in will overflow out – only speak His Word of truth and life. The greatest gain – Godliness. But godliness with contentment - is great gain. The greatest gift: Love – “For God so loved the world, that He gave”… The greatest love: to lay down your life, “Greater love hath no man than this…” The greatest pursuit – His Kingdom. Seek first His kingdom (where the King has dominion in your life – meaning – He’s the bossa you – time, thought and money decisions) Seek His will first, and all these things that you need; money, safety, security, success, peace…) all of them will all be added to you (they come with it) The greatest help: The Holy Spirit. The greatest loss: Your soul. What does it profit a man to gain the whole world, but lose his own soul. Praying that you will prosper as your soul prospers, in truth, in Christ. Your words fill your heart, His Word will guarantee your success. Praying that you would gain these greatest things. His Word tells you how, He will save you if you ask (you’ll become a new person), His Holy Spirit will fill you if you ask, and give you power to walk in this new life. He will give you wisdom if you ask, true wisdom from heaven, not the false wisdom of earth, and His Grace will help you leave your past behind, and walk in victory! So your future is secure, your hope is sure, your purpose is fulfilled, and your joy is full. Praying that you will be a part of these greatests, that God wants you to receive, chose and walk in. Regarding ‘the greatest’ debates… you can leave that to others. Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you.
I just love God’s Word. It gives uncomfortable truth. Most truth is uncomfortable, have you noticed? All truth has opposition. You have to overcome the opposition, to walk in God’s truth. Praying that you will. Have you ever noticed there are some immutable laws in life, just like in nature. Gravity for instance. Here’s one. To become something, you have to change something. You cannot become, without change. If you want to get in shape, you have to go to the gym. What you used to do at 6:00 am, you now do something different, than what you used to do. You used to sleep in, you now go to the gym, or go on a walk, or a run. You cannot become something without changing something that you are doing now, or believing now… If you want to become more Christlike, you cannot do what you are doing now. You have to change something. You have to follow His plan for you, not your plan for you. You have to think like He thinks, not like you think right now, or have always thought, or have always been taught. To become something, you have to do something different, or differently, than you are doing right now. You have to do something new, stop doing something old, you have to consistently do the new thing, and stop doing the old thing. The thing you always do, God doesn’t want you to do anymore. He doesn’t want you to do it that way. The thing you’ve never done, He wants you to start doing, and keep doing, the rest of your life. A new habit, a new way of doing it, a new way of thinking about it, a new way of believing. You have to change your values. You have to value the change more than you value the same. If you want get in shape, you have to eat differently than you have been eating, you have to exercise your body, that you don’t right now. If you don’t change, you will remain the same, you won’t become, you will stay what you are. What does God want you to become? What does God want you to change? He loves you, that’s why He has change for you. His plans are better than yours. His habits are better than yours. Have you asked him what He wants you to become? Have you asked him what habit He wants you to change, or begin? Have you asked Him what belief He wants you to change? That has been hindering you from becoming? Have you asked Him what word patterns He wants you to change? That lock you in to the same. That could lock in the change? If you ask Him, He will tell you. Then the only question is. Will you obey? Will you stop this, and do that? Whatever He tells you. I’m praying that you will - so you become. The big lie - you can’t do it. Who said that? It doesn’t matter, it’s not true. But if you say that, you’ll believe it, and you’re doomed, you won’t change. The second big lie, it’s not worth it. Nothing is more worth it, than changing what He wants you to change, believing what He wants you to believe, doing what He wants you to do. The habits that help you become - can be even stronger than the habits that keep you the same. Praying that you will have the humility, the willingness, the courage, and the perseverance to change. It’s called grace. He gives it, if you choose it. Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you.
I just love God’s Word. It is truth and life. Do you know what is one of the most important things in life - that will determine your success, or failure? Focus. Let’s say you’re a lion heading out to find something for dinner. And you come across a herd. Zebras everywhere, stripes everywhere, you charge in, they scatter all you’re seeing is stripes, and they all look the same. If you focus on one zebra, you’ll have dinner tonight. But if you focus on them all, you’ll get nothing. Focus is a critical skill in life. What did God tell you to do in this hour? Do you know? Have you asked Him? Are you doing it? Or are you focused on all the other Zebras. PiVAT before dinner helps you focus on one. PiVAT Maybe helps you get your mind off of all the other things, all the other stripes, that you shouldn’t be focusing on right now. PiVAT Maybe - what you think you gotta do, for God to confirm, delay or delete. Most aren’t even for you, some may be but not for today, that’s dinner tomorrow. So what should you focus on? God said fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith. Keep your eyes on Him, trust in him. That doesn’t mean sit there with your legs crossed, humming. How did Jesus focus on His Heavenly Father? He spent time with him, getting His plans and His Word. That’s PiVAT and PRISM, and then He focused on His Heavenly Father, not by staying on the mount of olives all day, but in doing the will of his Father in Heaven. First, Get God’s plan, then focus on doing the will of your Heavenly Father in this hour, and as you do… focus on Him to help you do it with joy! He will give you strength for the task, joy in the obedience, testimony to overcome with, and hope for the future. He was faithful today, He’ll be faithful tomorrow, and every day after. Just focus on the first thing He told you. Praying that you’ll do PiVAT before dinner, so you can focus on doing His will, just like Jesus did. Do PiVAT Maybe, to help take your mind off of all the other zebras – that’s not for you today. Do what He told you, in this hour. Praying that PRISM will keep your eyes on Jesus (the Word of God). In your life, focus is the key to fruit. Get His Plan, Soak in His Word, and obey with joy. (and overcome with somebody). Let God lead you in His Good. Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you.
I just love God’s Word. It shares every emotion, every joy of life. What it was designed for, warning of the enemy, and sharing God’s plans for your good. Every year around Super Bowl time, the announcements are made of this years inductees into the NFL Hall of Fame. What percentage of kids even make the high school football team, one percent? What percentage of High School Football players even get to play college football? One percent? What percentage of college scholarship football athletes make the NFL, one percent? And of the mere several thousand NFL players in history how many make the Hall of Fame? One percent? So what are the odds? 1% of 1% of 1% of 1%? It’s a big deal. Watching the film crews, and the current Hall of Fame member chosen to deliver the news… usually a close friend or coach of the new inductee - knocks on the door of their house. To give them the news – that have been selected to this years NFL Hall of Fame Inductee class. These are moving moments. You’ll see grown men cry, large grown men cry. Some are first ballot Hall of Famers, you have to wait for five years to be eligible, and I believe there is a limited window. Some get voted in on their first try. Others have to wait year after year, wondering if they will ever make the cut, if the voters for the Hall of Fame will ever consider their contributions worthy of Hall of Fame status. The longer it takes, the less likely they will make it. No one can really understand the pain and effort, they put into their career, a lifetime! The highs like no other, and the lows that no one could fathom, that these men went through in years and years of blood sweat and tears, decades of unimaginable effort, to reach football’s highest level. Who could really understand the cost, to their body, their family, the sacrifices required… That many others also put in like they did, and yet won’t ever receive this honor. Hall of Famer – that is a small subset of humanity, a select group for sure. That’s football, and your heart just has to rejoice for them, as they hear the news, surrounded by their family and friends. Cameras rolling, tears flowing… It’s a special moment, if you have any heart at all, you just have to be happy for them. But can you imagine what the inductee class to Heaven will be like? Those that have gone before you, that loved you and prayed for you, that raised you, and influenced you, just waiting for your first entrance, and the celebration that will take place. Heaven – that is a select group. God said wide is the path that leads to destruction, narrow is the path that leads to life, and few there be that find it. Most people don’t understand the impact of sin, they justify it, they don’t think they need a Savior, they don’t even think about it… And if they were told, decided to believe otherwise with those who think Jesus is just a historical figure, or a religious crutch. They don’t know He is God come down to earth because He loves you and wants you to be with Him in Heaven forever. They do not know the cost of sin, or the wages of it. It’s death - eternal separation from God, in a very bad place – no light, only darkness. But for those who have had their eyes opened, who understand the pure Holiness of God, and the egregiousness of sin, that separates the ones God loves, from their Creator and the Lover of their soul… These who have put their faith in Jesus – whose sacrificial death in their place – covered their sin, and restored their relationship with God. They will get that gold jacket one day. Not the NFL Hall of Fame, but welcomed Citizen of Heaven! Forever, escaping the fires of hell. That induction ceremony, that celebration will be unequaled. For Hall of Famers they are the best of the best. But that eternal gold jacket, often the worst of the worst, those of marginal account, failures. Because your performance will never get you to heaven, only your faith in the single perfect performance, the sinless life of Jesus, and His willingness to suffer the punishment of your sin, so you can be in heaven with your Heavenly Father forever – if you receive the gift of His Son. That gold jacket is the greatest one ever. Few get it, and those who do, don’t deserve it, they just received the gift God gave. It’s easier to do, than believe, to strive, than to rest in His promise. But that day – will be the true Hall of Fame Inductee Ceremony. Heaven for those who put their faith in Jesus. And separation for those who didn’t. It will be a celebration like no other. Those who were actually disqualified, got in - because of Jesus – the Greatest of All Time. Praying that you will live for Him, that you will love the one who loves you, and died for you. That you will know His reward is waiting! And that day is drawing ever nearer. Those Hall of Famers once they hear that long awaited news, everything they went through was worth it! I’m looking forward to the real induction ceremony – when you get that real gold jacket – simply by faith in Jesus. Praying that you won’t let any of your friends miss it. That you will share this good news with them! You don’t have to be Tom Brady – to make it to the Hall of Fame. Jesus did it for you. He’s all you need. Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you,
I just love God’s Word. It is God’s love letter to us, and His instruction book for us. If you loved someone, and wanted the best for them, and you knew something they needed, but didn’t know. Would you tell them? If you loved them you would. That’s what God did. He loves us, so He told us. Has God ever told you to do something, and you haven’t done it? Forget yet… if you haven’t done it yet, you haven’t done it. Maybe just never got around to getting started on it. Maybe started strong with the best intentions, but never really finished. Do you know what it is? Are you maybe just afraid of doing it, fear of the unknown, worried you won’t do it good enough, worried of the thing He might ask you to do next… or truth be told, you just don’t want to? Did God tell you to do something, and you haven’t done it? How long? How long will you wait, before you do it? Some people wait forever, God told them, but they will never do it. Is that you? Other distractions become priorities, and life happens, and they are all bound up with the urgent, and never do the important. How long will it take before you do what God told you? Will you do it ever? Could it be that He is waiting on you to do something? And He can’t take you to the next place, until you do it? Could it be He can’t take you to the next place until you do what He told you to do in this place? Could it be that your next season is delayed, because you have not yet implemented what He told you, so you can learn what He needs you to learn in this season? Some people are waiting for a job, but didn’t do what God told them to do yet on this job, or before they get the job. Some people are waiting on a car, or a house, or a spouse. But did you do what He told you to do? Until you do it, you may not get it. Has God called you away from something? That’s never the full story, or the full plan. Whatever God calls you away from, is not His plan. It’s what He is calling you to, that’s His plan. What He has for you there, not here. Will you go there? Are you fearful? Do you trust Him? Whatever it is, did God tell you to do something, and you haven’t done it… It’s taking forever. Will it? This might not apply to everyone right now, but does it apply to you? You might ask Him. If this Word is not for you right now, it may be something you will be needing soon. When He tells you to do something, praying that you will do it, at the time He tells you. If it is a big something, that takes many steps. Do you know the first step He has for you? He’s assigned a time for it. Did you ask Him, will you do it? It might be as simple as call someone, apologize, seek forgiveness, and restore the relationship. It might be write someone, pay that outstanding bill, or finished that last class needed to get your degree. It might be - leave Ur of the Chaldees and go to the land I will show you. What if Abraham delayed? What if he never got around to it. How long will you wait? How long? PiVAT before dinner will get His plan for you today, PiVAT Weekly, and PiVAT Monthly will help you seek His will for you – by the end of this month. Then the only question: Will you do it, when He said to do it. Praying that you will, so He can take you to the next place He has for you. There’s always good there. Not easy, good. Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you,
I just love God’s Word. Have you ever found a one hundred percent guaranteed investment? Whether the stock market, real estate, crypto, God said money has a way of taking wings and flying away. Nothing is guaranteed. But one thing is. God’s Word. It never returns void. Never loses money. Never gives you nothing. It’s always truth and life, hope and gain. It always produces profit. One other guaranteed investment I’ve found. I have never once regretted anything I did out of obedience. Especially PRISM time with God. Those five things you can do in His Word every day. More than several times, it’s late, and I’ve not gotten to PRISM yet today – just a crazy day! And God prompts me, and then the devil prompts me – just get a fresh start tomorrow, and God is silent. But I heard what He said, I’m learning the difference between those two voices. And no matter what time I go back to the well, to the bread of life, I have never once regretted obedience. He always blesses it, and obedience always brings joy. Always. The more of His Word that you have in your mouth, in your heart, and in your life, the more your life works. The more you obey, the more you grow, the more your faith grows, your hope grows, your joy grows, and your relationship with God grows. Obedience is a path, not a list, He’s trying to take you places! You’re not after perfection, He did that. But you’re after His presence, so He can reveal what He has for you next, where He can form you into His image, and when you start looking like Him, you don’t just look better, life becomes good. Trials and troubles bow to trust. If you know the One who speaks to the storm, the storm doesn’t bother you. If you’re in the boat with Him, you’re good. He will always give you what you need, so no matter what He prompts you to do, or when. Do it, obey, right now! You’ll have no regrets. Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you.
I just love God’s Word. It gives perspective, a new perspective, a different perspective, usually like heaven is higher than the earth. Do you know what is probably my least favorite sport? Probably baseball. It’s not the game or the players or the teams… And I will watch during the playoffs and the world series, so I don’t hate it… It just doesn’t seem fair. It’s the only place I know where you can fail seventy percent of the time and still make millions. If you bat three hundred, you’re failing seventy percent of the time, and you still get that multi-million dollar contract? Who gets that? If you failed seventy percent of the time on your job, you’d get fired. But really… if you think about it. That’s life. How many times did God prompt you to say something, and you didn’t. Or God warned you not to do something with your feet or your mouth… Don’t go there, don’t go with that person, or those people – that’s not gonna end well… Or don’t down that street hear her house… or don’t say that, don’t go down that hole with your words, grumbling or complaining, gossiping, slandering, or accusing, getting all greedy, or all full of yourself, and you did it anyway? Maybe sometimes, even seventy percent of the time? If you didn’t have that ticket to heaven, by your faith in Jesus, and His death in your place, you would be without hope, guilty. Fired. But that’s God’s mercy. He batted a thousand so you could get the contract. And when you already have it… that guaranteed contract to heaven. He doesn’t expect you to bat a thousand, He did that. But He gives you grace to say “No” to what doesn’t please Him, or help you. And the grace to say “Yes” to whatever He told you to do today. His grace – it’s like that hanging curve ball, just hanging there, just waiting for you to knock it out of the park! He doesn’t keep track, if you strike out, you’re not called out, you’re call up to bat again. His grace is there for you this next time. Praying that you will keep swinging. The secret is His Plan, His Word, and simple obedience, and walking with someone… The more you do that, the slower those pitches become. Just hanging there for you! Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you.
I just love God’s Word. It tells you the truth, it cuts through the crap, it exposes deception, in every generation. God said – All men are created equal. God said He made man in His image – male and female. And God said, liars gonna lie, haters gonna hate, because they’re like their father. Have you ever noticed, hypocrisy is hilarious. I seldom comment on anything that could be interpreted politically. That’s just not what I’m called to do. But I can’t help but laugh sometimes, at what’s funny. Multi-million dollar earning athletes, and the organizations and leagues they work for, in their woke stupor, pour millions of dollars into race baiting, division sowing organizations, canceling anyone’s opinion that doesn’t bow down to that false God and false definition of justice. Sowing division and mistrust, fomenting hate – Sowing discord among brothers – which God hates, pouring in millions to affect policies that do not affect them, just the ones they claim to stand for. But bring that low-income housing project to their neighborhood? No, no, we can’t have that. Our family moved here for safety, and privacy and security. So all those millions that we spent on social justice that now redistributes wealth (your wealth but not their wealth), that defunds police, (your police, but not their police), that forces misery on everyone else– just don’t bring that to my neighborhood, we need security here. Whether Atherton, or Martha’s Vineyard, we can’t have that here! We just want to be the virtue leaders. And even though it makes your lives miserable, crime infested, destiny shackled, hate filled. Just don’t bring that stuff here. What? Don’t you like your stuff? That’s hilarious… unless you don’t have the options they have. God has a way of exposing, of making plain - the genuine versus the fake. But considering that hypocrisy is easer seen in others, rarely seen in yourself… it might be good to ask a friend who understands the times, who walks in the wisdom of God, not the false wisdom of the world, if there might be anything hilarious in your life, any personal hypocrisy that you might be blinded to. The former isn’t your responsibility, the latter is. So God, give us your grace to change our stuff first… So we’re not hilarious, just humble, loving, faithful, demonstrating that true righteousness in our own life - that exalts a nation. Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you,
I just love God’s Word. It tells you everything you need to know. It’s not old fashioned, outdated or obsolete. It is actually more current, relevant, and profitable, than what most people talk about. It is truth and life, warning and success for you. It even talks about the best ink. Just a little advice from dad. What’s cool when you’re eighteen isn’t cool when you’re thirty-eight, or even twenty-eight. While I do still love my Milli-Vanilli tatoo – just something to think about. God tells us what the best ink is. The best tattoo is the one written on your heart, not your butt cheek. What’s written on your heart is far more visible. Here’s a nugget for you, especially when considering anything permanent... Counsel works better before-hand… in advance, not after the fact. God said seek a multitude of Godly counsel. When you wage war, get guidance. He said write these things on the tablet of your heart, talk about them when you’re coming and going, when you’re walking along the way, so you remember them, and do them, and teach them to your children. What’s written on your heart is more visible than what’s written on your body. Just a little ink advice from your Heavenly Father… Love you all, dad |
