Four Letter Words

​Love you all, praying for you,
 
I just love God’s Word.  It’s truth and life.  And it uses four letter words.  Here’s the best one.  Love:  For God so loved (you) that He gave his only son.  That if you believe in Him, you will not perish, but have everlasting life. The greatest command.  Love the LORD your God with all your heart, and all your soul, and all your mind, and all your strength.  The second greatest command.  Love your neighbor as you love yourself.  Love is the greatest command, and the greatest four letter word of all time.   Here’s the second best one.  Pray.  God said to pray without ceasing.  That means a life of praying constantly.  Always in conversation with the One who created you, loves you the most, and has plans for your best!  How else would you know them, if you don’t pray.  PiVAT before dinner – getting God’s plans for your day – is really a prayer, a conversation with your owner and boss, about His plans for you today.  That change of direction from your plans to His plans – is way better!  The third best four letter Word is Obey.  It's a path, not a list, a joy not a burden.  Every time you obey – it leads you closer to His best for you, the fulfilling of your purpose.  And there’s always joy there!  God said if you love me, obey my commands (what I tell you, what I have planned for you).  When it comes to love for God.  Love is obey.   Choose His plans and His ways over yours.  (Ask Him, He’ll tell you).  When it comes to love for others.  Love is prefer.  To prefer them over yourself, their interests above yours. And the fourth best four letter word is heed.  That means hear it and do it, apply it, put it into practice – do it immediately.  God gives warnings.  The wise man sees danger and takes refuge, the fool keeps going and suffers for it.  There are many dangers in life, physical, spiritual, emotional, financial.  God gives warnings.  Calamities happen, nations rise and fall.  God gives warning to protect his children.  Those who heed are protected, those who don’t, suffer loss.  Sometimes everything.  Praying that you will understand, and value these four letter words.  Love, Pray, Obey, and Heed.   The last four letter word is above all.  Word.  He has elevated His Word even above His Name.  What God says – He does, and that becomes part of His Name, and His fame.  His Word is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path, it’s truth, and life, and wisdom for your success.  His Word is the key to everything in your life, to establish you, protect you, promote you, and preserve you.  Praying that His WORD is your Priority (PRISM those 5 things you can do daily in it, will help you!).  His Word is the only guaranteed investment in life, it never fails to yield a return.  Praise is a good word, but that’s five letters.  Rejoice is a good one but that’s seven letters.  Life is a good one, that’s four.  And if you will LOVE, PRAY, OBEY, and HEED, and stay in His WORD!  The Giver of life will give you life and life more abundantly.  Plus if you love God you’ll praise him and rejoice anyway.  If you pray, you can’t help but do it. If you just think of what He has done, you can’t help but rejoice.  Praying that you will value God’s four letter words, and do them like you breathe.
