Love you all, praying for you,
I just love God’s Word. It is truth and life. Have you ever gotten nervous financially? One of two things is happening. The Holy Spirit is convicting you of something, or more likely, the devil is trying to put fear on you. Why more likely? Because you said you were feeling nervous… If the Holy Spirit is convicting you of something, it’s specific, and immediate – you have a choice to make. Obey what He says, or ignore Him. What will you do? The Holy Spirit’s conviction is specific, the devil’s fear is general. Nothing specific to do – just be very, very afraid. Why would you get nervous? Someone said layoffs are coming next week. A huge or unexpected expense just came up. You just went to the gas station, or the grocery store and prices were ridiculous. You heard that the stock market is going to crash, or taxes are going to increase. You are facing a huge expense, or price increase, and your income isn’t increasing, you could get nervous. So what should you do? Run to God. Ask Him, Is this from You? Is there something you want me to do, stop doing, or do differently? Or is this just fear trying to come over me. If It’s God, and you ask Him, He’ll tell you what He wants you to do right now. Do it. No matter what it costs. Comfort, inconvenience… If it’s give your tithe, then do it. If it’s change your lifestyle – do it. Whether stop spending, get out of debt, sell what God does not have for you to own anymore – do it. If God wants you to buy something, or give something, or stop spending on something, or save something. Whatever God tells you no matter what it takes or costs – financially, emotionally, or fleshly (what you really, really love or want)… Do It. Ask God if it’s Him, and What To Do. He’ll answer (He promises wisdom if we ask), Do it immediately and completely. And then rest in His promise, take joy in obedience, and put your faith in Him. If it’s just the devil – fill your tank with His Word. Just like a car doesn’t work if it runs out of gas, neither do you. You need a fill-up of His Word. PRISM will do it, especially M:Meditate on the Word. Get a PRISM Topic – that deals with this… and soak in it. God will restore you, refresh you, build your faith, and establish your course. Then, know where God’s money is, and just do what He tells you to do with it. 4C’s will help you. Love you all, dad

Love you all, praying for you,
I just love God’s Word. It is wisdom for life. God gives principles from His Word that always bring success. And He gives practical ideas to people that can plant His principles in your life. Have you noticed something – when it comes to money and stuff? The more you are on Facebook/Marketplace, the more you are on BidFTA, Amazon or Ebay - the less content you remain or become? It could even be directly proportional. Have you ever stopped to consider… What is consuming your attention financially? Do you want to buy something? If you keep looking, you will buy something. Whether you have the money or not, whether God told you to do it or not, whether you’ll need that money for something more important down the road, that hasn’t arisen yet, or not. If you look, you will buy. The more you look, the more you buy. Stop looking. What are you looking at? The things that rust and fade? Or the things that will never fade away? Shopping will steal your peace. Especially window shopping. The more you see, the more you want. Someone came up with a wonderful idea – to put into practice one of God’s principles – Contentment. The 30 Day List. How does it work. #1 List the Top Six things you want to buy – in priority order – of what you need or want most. #2 Wait 30 Days – before buying the first thing. #3 Only buy the First Thing on the list. Thirty days From now ask God and if He confirms – Buy it. Between now and then… if something else becomes more important to buy – replace it – in the #1 Spot on the list, and start your 30 Days over. Why wait Thirty days? First, it saves you from wasted mind space. It will take your mind off of it. Thinking of something that you don’t need right now, or can’t afford yet, or merely something that God didn’t tell you to buy right now… only steals your contentment, and consumes your thoughts when it shouldn’t. It actually keeps you from focusing on what God told you to do today… Binge shop is not it. The Second reason to wait for 30 Days. God may give you a better deal - if you just wait, a cheaper price… He might even provide it at no cost to you… someone might give you one! Or God may prompt you to give something to someone else. Giving is always a better use of thought space, than wanting. God promised to provide all our needs, just not all our greeds. The third reason to wait for 30 Days - you might find thirty days from now – you really need something else way more than this – it might not even be a desire or priority anymore. Within thirty days God may have provided for that need in a completely different way, or revealed a greater need that He wanted to provide. God may have something better for you! You’ll never get it, if you keep being consumed with this… The discipline of the 30 Day List – gives God a chance to bless you – with His best! Rather than you settling for second best, or not that great at all. The discipline of the 30 day list helps you free your mind for what God wants you focused on right now. It helps you learn to be content in whatever circumstance you are, and be thankful for what you have. Think about what you want to give, not what you want to get… what you dream of giving, not getting. You don’t need a new car… You need to wash the one you have. Do that first – be faithful with this one first. And let God give you the best car at the perfect time. He might just be waiting for you to be faithful with what you have… Or faithful with what belongs to someone else, so He can give you what belongs to you. Thankful is the best thing to be. Be content with what you have, and you’ll always be content. That’s not complacent, it’s just contentment - something that is learned, you’re not born with it. The 30 Day List – will improve your life dramatically – See the Tab in your 4C’s Accounting Tool. Give an Account – let God make your money decisions, just like your time and thought decisions. Contentment is a virtue, it’s a gift, it helps you live a wonderful life! Without it, you will never be happy – always needing that one more thing – that never makes you happy. It’s never worked for anyone. Focus on what God has for you right now. Guard your heart, and mind, your thoughts, and desires. Seek first the kingdom of God – and all these things will be added unto you. He promised. God might just be waiting on you to seek Him first, so He can add some things to you… Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you.
I just love God’s Word. It takes discernment. Have you ever read something that God said, that the revilers of His Word jump and point to inconsistency! That’s a contradiction! No, it just requires discernment, a little bit of wisdom. It’s a deeper level, it requires wisdom, knowledge and understanding, beyond a simple-minded jump to conclusion. Sometimes you have to think about it. But have you noticed – there are two distinctly different “Think about its?” There’s a huge difference between thinking to find, and thinking to find an excuse. There’s a huge difference between a seeking heart – like the Bereans, and a doubting heart – the perverse – that God despises. One thinks about it – to seek it out completely, the other thinks about it because they don’t really want to do it, they don’t accept it as truth, with joy, pre-disposed to obey it, like David. They think about it to try to rationalize it away and justify in their mind – not doing it. Which 'think about it' are you? The Bereans searched the Scriptures daily, to see if what Paul said was really true. God says these were of noble mind. The perverse turn it over in their mind until they go back to the contrary. God hates a perverse heart, but He commended the Bereans. David said – I have inclined my heart to do your will. Anytime David thought about it – it was to meditate on the wonder and magnificence of the LORD and the unsearchable-ness of His ways. He had already made up his mind to do whatever God said – no matter what. It’s that “Michael Jackson” forward lean – but one that goes past the point of no return, where there’s no pulling back you are going to fall forward, gravity takes over – you incline your heart to do God’s will – like David. Praying that when you think about it – it’s always to meditate on God’s truth, to get a little deeper into the vastness of the knowledge of God, to discover greater depths of his love for you and His wisdom for you. Praying that you’ll never think about it because of doubt and unbelief. Two kinds of people. Those inclined to do God’s will – who reap eternal blessing, and those disinclined to do God’s will, who reap temporal pleasure at best, but eternal loss. Praying that your thinking will be Holy and Godly, that your thinking will result in wisdom, not folly, in turning to, not turning from - the eternal truths of the living God. Is your thinker broke? Do you think to excuse, instead of pursue? You need a lobotomy. A transformed mind. God says transform your mind by His Word. Just Do PRISM, especially M:Meditate on the Word. Soak in a Topic, or Packet… Even s.o.a.p. out each verse and see what God will reveal further for you. He promised, if you will seek, you will find Him, if you seek truth by going to the source, you’ll find it. That applies to truth, and it applies to an excuse (if you seek one to find one you will). But if you seek His truth, you will surely find it, along with all the blessing that comes with it. God’s Ways always have reward with them. Man’s way always sucks, no exception. Only pleasure for a season, but it’s a vapor, it doesn’t last for long. God’s Ways increase blessing and favor for eternity. Praying that you will think wisely. That your ‘think about it’ will always draw you closer to Him – the way, the truth and the life. Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you.
I just love God’s Word. In a sentence, it’s God’s Way versus man’s way. The way that’s right, that’s best for you… versus the way that seems right or seems like the best at the time... Have you ever noticed how easy it is to get off track? Probably not. You don’t notice that you’re getting off track, until you are totally off-track… De-Railed. Things grind to a halt, you finally wake up and say, "Hey, something’s not right." Because getting off track is not a decision, it’s a drift. You don’t decide to get off track, you just decide not to track, to do something else at the time you usually do this… You neglect things, you don’t choose to refuse, you just don’t choose to continue, you choose something else instead… And before you know it, you’re off track. What is track anyway? Is it a restrictive imprisonment of some kind? No, it’s your groove – your sweet spot of life rhythm. The path God has for you. When you’re off track, it always goes back to a time thing. You are doing different things at the time you usually do the things that God had for you (Off-track). So how do you recover? How do you get back? First Purpose, then PiVAT, then Prayer, and then, Persistence. Start with Purpose. To get back on track… start with the bigger picture. What has God called me to do? There are things he has for everybody, and things He has for you. Talents, abilities and callings are different, but the broadest purpose is the same. To Know God (who created you and loves you), and make Him known, more specifically the Great Commission. If you’re off track with that, you aren’t fulfilled, just busy. To Know God is to worship Him, praise Him, put him as your time priority. Just like any relationship, no time… no relationship. Make Him known is simply share how good He is. But if you’re off-track – that means you’re not doing what He told you, when He told you to do it, so you don’t really have a testimony when you’re off-track. You’d rather not talk to people, because you don’t have the victories that you could be walking in, which is why you’d rather not talk about it. So How do you return? Four Simple Steps – simple, not easy. Purpose – Ask God again, what is the purpose you’ve called me to. How do you want me to live? Not only generally – what God has for everyone, but also, what does He have for you? If you’re an artist – it might be create great art, that draws people higher… Or if you’re a writer – write great story that draws people closer. Or if you’re a doctor – make people well. Or if you’re a lawyer – defend those who cannot defend themselves. Or if you’re a programmer – design stuff that makes peoples lives easier. For me God told me to disciple obedience through daily relationships. God showed me that the most enduring discipleship is – allow someone close enough to see how you obey. (Heb 3:13) Daily lives will be different – because you have different individual callings and purpose, but your obedience will look the same. Time, thoughts, money, so you have a Testimony – through what God specially assigned you to do. Bus Driver, Nurse, Teacher, Programmer. To do it with complete excellence. To get back on track – Go back to your Purpose. Then PiVAT – that 3 column day planner that God fills out, not you. If you’re ever going to get back on track, it starts with time, what has God assigned for you today, and when. The 3rd Step to get back on track. Prayer – you can’t do this on your own. You won’t even know what to do, if you don’t ask Him, much less the best way to do it… Which He definitely knows, and is just waiting to tell you. And pray in the Spirit, not just in English – Soak in His Word. PRISM is part of prayer – it’s the part of the conversation when He is speaking, not you. And finally – Persistence. Once you remember Purpose, what God has called you to, and why, And PiVAT – what God told you to do when. And Prayer – Talking with Him about it, to get his vision, his insight, the best way to do it, and His encouragement… Then it just comes down to persistence, persevering in that first step, then the second, and you are off and running again. It will definitely require humility, It will likely require repentance. You’re not robbing banks or murdering people, but less than His best, is still less than His best for you. Praying that you will recognize when you’re drifting, before you are totally off. Praying that you’ll just ask Him, that you would return through Purpose, PiVAT, Prayer, and Persistence, so you get back in the rhythm that brings you the greatest progress. Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you,
I just love God’s Word. It tells you what’s important. Or you wouldn’t know, you would just guess. What is really important? Humility. How Important Is Humility? Humble yourself, and God will exalt you, exalt yourself and God will humble you – it’s pretty important. God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble (power, wind in your sails). The Hallmark of Jesus was humility – it’s what led to His obedience, even death on a cross. Here’s an equation, H+FOTL=WHL. Humility and the Fear of the LORD bring wealth, honor, and life. Humility is pretty important, Humility goes with the Fear of the LORD, it’s required to have it. And the Fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, which God says “get above all else.” Praying that you’ll review The Humility Packet. If it’s that important, it’s worth knowing what God says about it, in his own words. It’s critical to your success. What is humility? There are two kinds. Humility towards God, and Humility towards others. Humility towards God is obeying Him. To submit yourself to His Word, to come under His mission - submission. Humility towards others is preferring them. Thinking of others more highly than yourself, preferring them over you. Giving them the bigger piece, instead of taking it for yourself. It isn’t submitting to others like you do with God, but God does say we are to submit to one another in love, husbands and wives, and those who are part of the family of God. Being humble enough to heed counsel, to let others speak into your life, to encourage you in what you are doing well, and challenge you on things you should reconsider – that are not fully aligned with God’s truth and His best. They may see things that you don’t, or see them differently and perhaps more accurately than you do from your self-defending, or self-promoting perspective. The First Step of Humility – is Obey God, accept His Word as truth, and commit to obeying it, no matter what. If you aren’t humble before God, humility before others won’t really matter. The FIRST STEP of humility towards others is to think more highly of them. When you think of others – do you think of them better and more important than you? Their wishes, their preferences, or words, or thoughts, or needs? Or do you think of you as better and more important than them? Your wishes, or preferences, or words, or thoughts or needs? When you think of others (humility starts here, with thoughts before words or actions), do you believe the best of them? or the worst of them? Do you slander them in your mind? If you do, you will slander them with your words. God hates slander. Think more highly of others – overlook their faults. “Oh they probably think this and this, they probably think they’re better than me, or they probably will do this, or say that…” How do you know what they think? or what they did or will do? Why are you accusing them – to yourself? That’s what the devil does – the accuser of the brethren. Are you doing his work for him? Why? You don’t know all the details or circumstances. They may have had a good reason to do or say what they did. You don’t know all the facts. Or they just made a mistake – have you never made one? Or they’re just having a bad day, has that never happened to you? Or, OK - they really were malicious of intent. Who cares, God says to forgive and love - even your enemies. He forgave you of far worse than that. Humility towards others, starts with how you think when you think of them. Think more highly. THE SECOND STEP of humility toward others– say nothing harmful. Say nothing if need be. But if you think more highly, you won’t have to hold your tongue against them, you’re not against them. You’ve learned to guard your thoughts, and always think more highly. THE THIRD STEP of humility towards others - is to listen. Learn to listen and you will learn humility. Seek to understand, not to be understood. Listen without interrupting, or forming your response, listen to ask the next clarifying question, to better understand what they are saying, or even to help them discover what they really mean or really need. Be willing to listen, without ever having to say anything. Just listen, it may be all that God wants you to do at this time. (Pray first, not Say first). The FOURTH STEP of humility towards others is to serve, to help them. Be willing to sacrifice what benefits you, to do what benefits others. Let God lead you. Some people are out helping others when they should help their spouse, or finish their own responsibilities. Only do what God leads you, when His timing is right, but be willing to serve – it’s humility in practice. Praying that you will study The Humility Packet, so you know God’s heart, so He can instruct you in this Humility thing - that is so important to your success… so you learn to walk in it, so He can exalt you – at the very best time. Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you,
I just love God’s Word. It’s truth, it’s success, it’s the meaning and purpose of life – so you can do what you were created for. I just love God’s Word. Have you ever seen on You Tube – all the things you can do with WD-40. It’s amazing! I thought it was just for door hinges… Apparently you can kill insects with it, and wasps nests, you can keep your car grill bug-free, you can kill weeds with it, you can remove gum from your hair, remove glue from skin, when you stupid friend sticks their fingers together. You can remove decals from car windows. So you can get rid of the I Love Fudge sticker from that used car you just bought. You can clean scuffs off the floor, defrost windows, clean your grill, or oil spots off your driveway… clean salt from your boots, you can remove a ring stuck on your finger. I never imagined all the uses of WD-40. Let me give a disclaimer here, I have not personally tested all of these, so I cannot guarantee all their claims, but I found it very interesting. There is one thing however, infinitely more useful than WD-40. And it comes with a guarantee. God says so. 33 Things You Can Do with God’s Word: You can 1) Read It, 2) Believe It, 3) Obey It – it’s commands, You can 4) Praise it, You can 5) Pray it over yourself, and 6) Pray it over others, 7) Declare it – over your own life, and over the lives of the ones you love. You can 17) Rejoice in it, 18) be Thankful for it, You can 19) be admonished and corrected by it, if you’re humble enough. You can 20) Love it, or 21) Ignore it. 22) Neglect it, or 23) Reject it. You can 24) Do it – apply it’s principles. You can 25) Forget it – you knew and did it once, but you’ve since forgotten how powerful and advantageous, how vitally important it is. You can 26) Teach It – to your children, you can teach it to others, You can 27) Gain Wisdom, and get knowledge and understanding from it, You can 28) Be consumed by it (keep coming back, can’t get enough), or be too busy for it. You can 29) Love Others with it, by treating them the way it tells you to. You can 30) Be changed by it, become a different and better person each year of your life, even each month! You can 31) keep it coming out of your mouth, on your lips, and in your heart. You can definitely 32) Build your life on it, And You will always 33) Benefit from it – it will never come up empty, it never returns void, God promised. It will never not produce a profit, a return on your investment. It will accomplish the purpose for which God sent it. If you only knew how useful His Word can be… Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you,
I just love God’s Word. It tells you how to Fear God, and the blessing that comes with it. You could get on your knees right now. This is doing the Fear of the LORD. Psalms 95:6 - O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker. Psalms 5:7 - But as for me, I will come into your house, by your great mercy and in your fear will I bow down toward your holy temple. We don’t have to be in the temple to kneel or bow down. David is saying, “I’m going to obey you,” before God even told him to do anything! Ask God to help you! I just love God's Word. It teaches you the Fear of the LORD. What If You Learned The Fear Of The LORD? How your life would change completely! Praying that you will review again the Daily Huddle – The Best Investment… and the PRISM Topic - You Are Not Fearing God For Nothing. Why learn the fear the LORD? #1 It’s a requirement. Deuteronomy 10:12 – And now, O Israel, (He’s talking to the people – “Where He Rules As God”) what does the LORD your God ask of you? but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to observe the LORD’s commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good! Why learn the fear of the LORD? #2 It’s the beginning of wisdom. Psalms 111:10 – The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding. To him belongs eternal praise. Proverbs 15:33 – The fear of the LORD is instruction in wisdom, and humility comes before honor. Why learn the fear of the LORD? #3 God will bless you. You are not fearing God for nothing… Psalms 115:13 – He will bless those who fear the LORD, the small together with the great. What is the Fear of the LORD? To love God more than sin. Choosing God over sin. The next time you have an opportunity, choosing God over sin. The Fear of the LORD - Loving God so much that you would never do anything to displease or disappoint Him. What does God say about the fear of the LORD? See The Fear Of The LORD Packet, and the Fear God Summary. What is the Fear of the LORD? #1 To hate evil (to turn from it immediately like a putrid smell) Proverbs 8:13 - The fear of the LORD is to hate evil; pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech, I despise. What is perverse? A reluctance to obey (a slow obeyer). Turning it over in your mind until you go back to the contrary - Perverse. Being a hearer, but not a doer of the Word. Not quick to obey, the first time, completely with a happy heart… thinking about it first… Perverse. What is the Fear of the LORD? #2 – To Tremble in His presence. Jeremiah 5:22 – “Should you not fear me?” declares the LORD, “Should you not tremble in my presence?” I made the sand a boundary for the sea, an everlasting barrier it cannot cross. The waves may roll, but they cannot prevail; they may roar, but they cannot cross it. But these people have stubborn hearts; they have turned aside and gone away. They do not say to themselves, ‘Let us fear the LORD our God who gives autumn and spring rains in season, who assures us of the regular weeks of harvest.” Your wrongdoings have kept these away; your sins have deprived you of good.” What is the fear of the LORD? #3 – To Fully Obey what He tells you. (It’s why PiVAT before dinner is so important – it's Fear of the LORD practice…) 2 Chronicles 19:9 – “Thus you shall do in the fear of the LORD, in faithfulness, with your whole heart.” What has God told you to do? Do it. This is the fear of the LORD. Whatever God tells you, ask Him and do it fully, with all your heart. Not just loving, not just hearing, doing what He tells you. PiVAT before dinner is a perfect place to start. You’ll find out what He wants you to do – to Fear Him… And PRISM – His Word – that tells you how you should do it… What is the Fear of the LORD? #4 Speak the Truth, #5 Say Nothing Harmful to others, #6 Do Good, #7 Seek Peace. I just love God's Word. It tells you what faith is, and how to grow it. Praying that you will review the PRISM Topic - Faith. It's really important! Have you ever thought... "I just wish I could have more faith?" You can! 11 Things You Need To Know About Faith. #1 Without Faith it is impossible to please God. Hebrews 11:6 – And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who diligently seek him. Faith pleases God! #2 For by Grace are you saved through faith. The first and biggest step of faith that pleases God is Salvation through Faith in Jesus Christ. Why? Because He loves you, and doesn’t want anyone to perish (to be eternally separate from Him), because God and sin cannot co-exist. Like oil and water, no sin can live with God in heaven. Ephesians 2:8 – For it is by grace that you have been saved, through faith – and (even) that is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works so that no one can boast. God said "You must be born again." All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. The wages of sin is death, but God’s gift is eternal life – through Jesus. If you don’t put your faith in the death of Christ in your place to cover your sins… your sins remain. And no sin can live with God in heaven. One day judgment will come. We will all stand before God and give an account of our life. Hebrews 9:27 – For it is appointed unto men once to die, and after this, the judgment. At that judgment, all those who believed and received God’s gift of Salvation through his Son, will live in heaven forever with Him! And all those who rejected the gift of his Son - to make them righteous like God, will be forever separated from Him, in outer darkness (a place called hell, and ultimately the lake of fire). That truth of Salvation - takes faith to believe, the devil calls it a lie. Who will you believe? Your belief doesn’t change reality, it remains no matter what you believe. Faith is for something you don’t see yet, but accept and believe by faith. You can deny gravity, but jump off a bridge, and your lack of faith won’t change reality. God loved the world (you) so much that He gave his only Son, that whoever (anyone) that believes in Him, will not perish, but have everlasting life. The second step of faith that pleases God… is being filled with the Holy Spirit He promised. Do you have faith to be saved? Do you believe what God promised? Do you have faith to be filled? Do you believe what God promised? Jesus said, "Wait in Jerusalem until the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you will receive power to by my witnesses." That word means martyrs, you will receive power to live the new life that you have in Christ. God said, wait for it. Don’t go without it. It takes faith to believe in the unseen. You walk in the Spirit by being filled with the Spirit. Luke 11:13 - If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” If you put your faith in Jesus for Salvation, (God wants you to! That’s why He sent Him) then put your faith in the Holy Spirit that He promised. Be filled, and you will speak in a new language, He will lead you into all truth, you will have power, to walk in the Spirit so you don’t fulfill the desires of your old life. The first two steps of faith that please God – Be Saved and Be Filled. #3 You have it, but you have to use it. You already have it! Romans 12:3 – For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly that you ought, but think of yourself with sober judgment, according to the measure of faith God has given you. God already gave you the measure of faith you need for what He has planned for your life. Use it or lose it. I might not need as much faith as you, but I have what I need, just like you do. God gave it. It’s our job to use it. How do you get your faith stronger? 1) Soak In God’s Word: Romans 10:17 – So then, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Be careful how you hear. If you hear God’s Word, believe it. The more you soak in His Word the more your faith can grow. 2) Pray in the Spirit. If you have been filled with the Holy Spirit – as Jesus promised the Father would send. Then pray in the Spirit and build your faith! Jude 1:20 – But you, dear friends, as you build yourselves up in your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting expectantly for the mercy of our LORD Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life. 3) Obey – whatever your hear – obey it. God warned through Hebrews 4:2 – For we also received the good news just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, because they didn’t accept it by faith. If you hear God’s Word to you, you have to do it, put your faith to it! Or what He promised or told you is of no value to you. 4) PiVAT before dinner – God’s plans for you today – is His Word to you – by faith. Just like His written Word in the Bible, He has a rhema word, a present word for you today. He said "I know the plans I have for you." He wants share them with you! Ask Him, He’ll tell you - that’s PiVAT before dinner - Faith practice! It will grow your faith daily! You have to believe that He told you, and what He told you, do it. Then you’ll know, “Yep, that was Him. I obeyed and He blessed it.” PiVAT grows your faith, it’s hearing and doing the will of God that He told you. Obedience always brings joy, but obedience brings testimony which becomes proof that He spoke, you did it, and He blessed it. That’s proof from the obedience that increases your faith. #4 Faith counts as righteousness. It still does. Abrahams’ faith in the promise of God – was counted to him as righteousness. Our faith in the Son of God (that God said to put your faith in) is counted to us as righteousness – that’s how we become the righteousness of God – in Christ! His righteousness gets assigned to us, our sin gets assigned to Him. We get what He paid for. We become the righteousness of God, through Jesus’ righteousness counted unto us. #5 It Doesn’t Take Much. If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can tell mountains to move. Matthew 17:20 He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move, and nothing will be impossible for you.” God has given you the measure of faith you need, you just need to build it to the place where you can speak to mountains. It doesn't take much... you have what you need. #6 – God is impressed by faith, not talent or money. Even though all three came from God. Matthew 8:8 – The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed. For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and that one, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, “Do this," and he does it.” When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.” Do you want to please God? grow your faith. His Word, Pray in the Spirit, PiVAT Before Dinner, Obey what He tells you! And Give your testimony – you overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony! It's how your faith gets stronger! #7 When it comes to faith - what you say is what you get. You can have little faith or great faith – Your words will grow faith or grow doubt. Guard your words so you guard your faith. 2 Timothy 1:13 – Hold fast the pattern of sound words which you have heard from me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. What is the pattern of your words? Never speak words that are not faith. 2 Corinthians 4:13 – It is written: “I believed; therefore I have spoken.” With that same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak. What you speak is what you get. Be sure the pattern of your words are faith. God gave you a measure, you decide what to do with it. You get to decide how big it gets. God gives you faith, and tells you how to increase it. But how much it increases depends on your love and obedience, and the words you speak. #8 Faith without action is lifeless. Faith requires action. If you have faith, you will act on it. If you there's no action, you have little faith. Even Abraham’s faith that was counted to Him as righteousness was proven by what he did, when he left his home for a land that God said he would show him, and when he offered his son as a sacrifice, even though God promised that this son would be the one that would give him descendants as the sand on the seashore. James 2:17 – In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. Now someone may argue, “Some people have faith; others have good deeds.” But I say, How can you show me your faith if you don’t have good deeds? I will show you my faith by my actions…” Was not our father Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? You see that his faith and his actions worked together. His actions made his faith complete. God has actions for you. PiVAT before dinner, get His plans and do them. It's how you get to the good that He has for you, you walk in faith. #9 You can misplace faith. Psalms 20:7 - Some trust in horses, some trust in chariots, but we will trust in the Name of our God. Some even have more faith in fear… than God. They think that what they fear is bigger than the God they claim to serve. The devil tries to send the spirit of fear, to replace faith, to cancel it. Fear is a temptation to put faith in what you fear, over faith in God, or what He promised. Some trust in themselves. Psalms 49:12 – People, despite their wealth, do not endure; they are like the beasts that perish. This is the fate of those who trust in themselves, and of their followers, who approve their sayings. God said trust in the LORD, with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding (or strength or ability), in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths. Don't have misplaced faith... #10 You can misuse faith. I’m just believing God for that new Cadillac. That’s not faith, that’s greed. That’s not what God intended faith for. Seek first the kingdom of God, and all these things will be added unto you. Don’t seek first the things that you want. James 4:2 – You desire but you do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God. And when you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your own pleasures. You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? Therefore anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. Faith is intended for the purposes of God, not the pleasures of the world. God has a purpose for the faith He has given you. It’s for eternal gain, not temporal. #11 Have Faith in God. It will help you stand firm. Romans 5:1 – Therefore, since we have been justified though faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace (supernatural power) in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Put your faith in God. Stand firm in the Grace He gives you. Increase your faith, He rewards those who diligently seek Him. Be Saved, Be Filled, Read His Word, Pray in the Spirit, Obey, do PiVAT before dinner. It’s faith practice. Getting His plans for you each day – is exercising your faith in God. Believe that He will tell you, believe that was Him that told you, and do what He told you. Your faith will grow every day. I Corinthians 16:13 – Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong. Do everything in love. Galatians 5:6 … what matters is faith expressing itself through love. Your faith will be rewarded. He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him, whose faith expresses itself in love. Increase your faith - so your faith can please God! Love you all, dad |
